I searched the forums and didn't see anything nor have found the feature I'm looking for.
I would like to set resource points, either limited use or through the scaler?, equal to a modifier or modifier plus N. Is this possible or will it be?
Something like ki from the monk or grit like mercer's gunslinger. I want the resource points to equal a modifier like in the case of grit, wisdom... I believe.
SO it is a little laborious but how I eneded up doing this when creating a gunslinger subclass for my player (privatley of course) what i did was make a custom item called grit which had a number of charges equal to the grit they had and set it to recharge at the apporpriate rest. It should appear in the limited use section of the sheet. EIther you can make it and have it shared to the player and you adjust it manually when it increases or you let the player make the item and trust them to keep it correctly up to date.
Its not perfect but it is a work around. I would check all the subclasses for the class to see if they have something like grit or ki that you could resking otherwise this is how i would go.

Yeah I looked and didn't see anything. I knew I could set it as a hard number vs a modifier. I may just use the level scaled and increase it 2 or 3 times from like 2 to 4 to be an average of what the modifier would be.

Such things are mechanics that would be introduced through a new class, rather than a subclass of an existing class.

What kind of "custom rescourse" are you trying to do? Sometimes I find while you cannot make a new one there are ways to cheat them in so to speak.
