I recently upgraded to a master tier subscription to use the new maps tool. But I have been unable to access any maps. I go to maps, select the campaign I want and press GO, but it just goes to a loading screen and does not move from there. I have tried on both Chrome and Edge and on multiple days, also waiting over 10 minutes but it just remains on a loading screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I specifically upgraded my subscription for the maps tool.
Thank you, it may be possible that something is blocking it on the computer I am using. (I will not deny nor confirm I was trying to do this while at work). I had a quick look on my phone and was able to access the maps there so will try again from home.
What a pain, I guess I am going to have to use my own free time to make maps! 😅
I'm going to chalk this fix up more to randomness than anything. Seems like on Sundays early afternoons, things get dicey and will de-sync and randomly come back. I have cleared cache, used a completely different browser that's never accessed D&D, tried on my phone using a browser that had never previously accessed D&D Beyond while on cellular, bypassing our WiFi, and none of those things worked. Nor did it work for anyone in the party, either on-site or remotely, so this is not a browser caching issue, it's a "WotC can't handle the surge of traffic that's consistently happening on Sundays."
Really super frustrating, especially given that I'm paying for the service.
Maps was down from me today, Sunday afternoon August 25, 2024 everytime I tried to use it from 3:00-6:00 PM Central. Really sucks as I had to run two battles without it.
This was a problem for me Tuesday 7EST this week. Half my players could not access the maps, and I had trouble on my choice device. Various errors about not finding the map, not finding the campaign, or Steps in wrong order in Otto's dance. Cute, but we had to go back to a whiteboard streamed on discord.
I am using a Mac Book Pro on Google Chrome with Master's Tier purchase active, unable to launch any maps. Asks me to refresh. Refresh does nothing. Relaunching Google Chrome does nothing. Restarting the Mac Book Pro does nothing. Trying the F12 to "clear cache and force reload," that was stated earlier, does nothing.
Do I need to purchase a higher tier? If so, buying a printer and ink with paper would be cheaper.
Please remember, I am a newbie to DnD and DM'ing.
Thank you for your considerations.

I've just loaded up maps and it's working fine for me. A few things to check would be

We solved it. Try to F12 then right-click the Refresh button and press "Empty cache and forced reload". This should solve it.
