I came on the site to pre-order Vecna but ran into the Paypal problem. There is a payment option on my screen but when I try to use it I get a message that says "PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method." So, if you think this problem is solved, you are mistaken. I guess it has saved me the price of the book because I don't DnDBeyond with my CC info.
I just tried it by buying The Book of Many Things and Paypal was not only available as a payment method but the payment went through and I immediately had access to the book.
Perhaps the problem is not with the marketplace but with the set up by which you are trying to make the purchase, i.e. browser, browser extensions, using the app on a device instead of the website, etc.?
This is indeed a known issue, and one we hope to have updates for you on very soon!
fixed soon? it's been 18 days since you posted this...and it's still an issue
It was fixed on May 9th; someone else just noticed before I was able to come and inform you all, and I replied to them about it.
There were intermittent issues about a week ago, if I recall, but nothing has come to my attention about a widespread inability to use PayPal again. I would try @Tyriandaar's suggestions and see if that may fix anything first.

I have tried on a couple different browsers (vivaldi and chrome, desktop and mobile versions) and 3 different machines, all same result. the paypal window starts to open (so I can sign in) and then immediately closes and gives error.

Got it. I'm sorry that's happening! I've escalated the issue you're having, and might private message you for more details if the team needs it. That cool?

weird issue and doesn't look like i'm the only one as the comment directly before mine says they were having issue as well and it was only 2 days before I commented as saying I was having same issue. Would it matter country maybe it's being purchased from? I'm not in US.
I just tried again to go through checkout on different product on my work computer (this would make computer number 3) and getting same issue. When I click paypal it starts to load and then gives me error indicated. "PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method."
Tried to use Paypal on Firefox (on incognito and regular) and Microsoft Edge today, both open the Paypal window and then closes and gives the "PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method" error.
I am sensing that the common thread might be those of y'all who are outside the US. Let me dig some. Thanks for your patience!

Any update on this? Also outside the US. The new UI design seems horrible! Difficult to tell me what I own, keeps telling me to buy things from an external site, etc. I really don't like any of it... I'm legit wondering if I should continue my master tier subscription, and I even kept it through the whole OGL drama... It seems very unfriendly to people outside the US at this point. If I'm unable to take part in the big sale... yeah that's gonna leave a pretty sour taste in my mouth. If it's not fixed before the 9th I hope the sale will at least be extended until it is fixed...
EDIT 5/12/24: PayPal is now appearing as an option for me. :)

Well, as of today, this is still an issue for me. If it helps narrow down a source of the problem, I am located in Canada.
Same thing happening here "PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method."
Tried to use Paypal on Firefox (on incognito and regular) and Microsoft Edge today, both open the Paypal window and then closes and gives the "PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method" error.
Also in Canada!

*Takes a seat in the thread to watch for a reply.*
Having that same issue, I am in Canada as well, I hope to see a fix soon. Keep up the good work staff person.EDIT: And it suddenly works, curious, but thanks to whoever smacked the server. :)
But it didn't. oh my, this internal drama for my day. lol. I'll wait on a fix then.
I'm also in Canada, same issues across Firefox and Chrome and two different PCs.
Oh well, I'm not starting my campaign for a couple weeks so I can wait.

HI! Also from Canada, also having this issue (tried on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome).
