For those in Canada I reported this to their discord a few days ago and it was passed along to their team - the actual error is that the state (province) field is required by Paypal for Canada. Since that field is not active when selecting Canada as a country it fails to process.
I was able to set my province manually as the data was being sent to paypal and the popup worked with the payment processing properly.
So hopefully, fingers crossed, they'll be able to resolve it by just enabling the province selection the next time they apply updates to the marketplace.
Yeah I mean I wouldn't cross 'em too hard, they've been saying they're aware of the issue blah blah blah for a while and allegedly have known it's an issue on their end for the better part of a month... :/
American here, just tried to purchase with PayPal, but when I clicked the button, there's no pop-up to PayPal like there used to be, and no way to navigate to the next step of the purchase. Only appears for the Credit Card option. Any solutions?
Greetings from Germany! I always purchased dndB Stuff via PayPal, but since yesterday i cant do this anymore. PayPal is not on the List of payment methods and I cant even resubscribe to my master tier. Is it wanted change or will it get fixed any time soon? Thanks a lot

If you could tell us exactly how you did this, it'd be a massive help, been having this issue for weeks now and still had no luck.

I can't give a great walk though without doxing myself really. I can send an image with some steps to those who are comfortable with the browser dev tools. I wouldn't suggest doing it without familiarity with dev tools though. If anyone would like the steps PM me and I can send it to you. I don't want to encourage people to mess around with dev tools in the marketplace too much by posting them publicly.
Wow, I came today to preorder some new books, then realise that I lost my rebate on books from the individual item I bough previously. I decide to swallow the pills before realizing that Canadians can't use Paypal anymore.
I guess I won't be renewing my membership either since it is linked with my paypal account.
I've tried to purchase today with no luck with PayPal. It lets me put in the info, even signs me into PayPal. But then it won't advance to the confirmation stage. Quite poor there being on going issues since May!

No kidding. Considering this is likely costing them a significant amount of income, you'd think it'd be a higher priority to fix. I just hope it's fixed in time for the new core rulebooks.
I am floored that this still hasn't been fixed... You guys have all entered support requests, right? Not just posted here and gone about your days? If not, please enter a support request and link to Jay_Lane's fix above... This is getting ridiculous.
@Bacanater297 has it correct. DNDBeyond is failing to conform to the request parameters:
I am actually quite surprised that this post has been active since May… The fix is pretty simple for them to do. Add the "province" field back to the address form and ensure that the label is correct. They currently have it in there but it is hidden and not being used for the request. Instead, they are simply having "state" be an empty string.
@LaTiaJacquise, you haven't responded since May 23rd to this, do you have any updates on the fix roll out?

I sent another support ticket outlying the issue refrencing the prior response with similar details to your fix and linking this thread, no response to the ticket. They just don't care.
Looking at LinkedIn to see current engineers and developers as well as the career hub of hasbro… it looks like they are trying to hire nearly an entire team of devs… meaning they may not have anybody that CAN fix the site currently. I wonder if this is because of those layoffs last December. Not having engineers that can solve issues is a big problem. You cannot hire people if you do not make money… you cannot make money if you don't have a functional store… you can't do bug fixes on the store until you hire people… you cannot hire people…

My Pre-order physical was just canceled because of this so now I'm out the discounted price...

How was it canceled, I did pre-order mine but used my credit card instead of Paypal and want to make sure mine does not get canceled.

How to add tooltips on dndbeyond
Seems like it's time to start looking for a company that will actually let me pay for products.
I hear Palladium Books has some okay rules.

I'm in US trying to buy the 2024 book bundle, it lets me log into PayPal but doesn't let me get any further.
Got an email that my subscription renewal failed using paypal.
I can not find any paypal option.
Is paypal being used or not?
EDIT: I'm in Oregon, US.
EDIT@: Since they will not reply to my ticket, I tried just re-suscribing, and it gives me the following error but never asked for a payment method.:
Couldn't Collect Payment
You no longer have access to the subscription benefits. If you have further questions please contact Customer Support.
While I can see it, any attempt to use it says that it is invalid. Is this still a current bug?
I just tried to purchase the Grim Hallow book and Ebon Tides book and Paypal failed.
I keep getting an error message: PayPal payment options are invalid. Please, select another payment method.
I live in Ottawa, ON Canada. Why is this happening? Why hasn't this paypal error been fixed yet?
