Someone in my group purchased Eve of Ruin and shared it with the rest of us on the app. I was able to download it just fine and access it normally, but a day or so later it was entirely gone from the app. No longer downloaded, and not even available to purchase independently. Trying to backdoor it, I typed in one of the monsters in the Listings. When I click on the monster shown, instead of a statblock, it lists as if I need to purchase the book before I can view it. But the option to purchase is faded out. What's going on?
I ordered the VEoR bundle on March 20th. I don’t have access to maps. I checked my license and it says my license is in sync. But I do not see the VEoR in my licenses.
Edit: also, I just checked my library. Nest of the Eldritch Eye and Eve of Ruin both are NOT marked as in my library.
In area C7 in In the Graveyard portion of Chapter 1 it reads:
"These creatures are indifferent toward intruders and attack only in self-defense. Once bound to serve the Waterclock Guild, they’re now free but enjoy the perpetual “rain” here. The cult bullies these Elementals, so they remain sulking under the water’s surface. Determined not to stand for further intrusion, the Elementals rise to attack anyone other than cultists."
so i preordered the digital and physical bundle. and have not recieved the physical book yet. have put in 2 tickets with dndbeyond and neither has been responded to at all. over a week and a half. anyone else having this issue? it shows the charge, but does not show up in my purchase historys anywhere and i never received any emails for it.
Did anyone from dndbeyond ever respond (here or elsewhere) about the bait & switch over the digital preorders?
nope. we have yet to hear anything regarding it in any way.
it's convinced me to NOT preorder Quests from the Infinite Staircase as a result of their non-transparency and lack of communication, as have many others.

Yeah, I would have to agree... even if I were to choose the bundle, being inside the US there's no incentive to click the order button before July 16th, as there is no early access. The old Wizards store promises one week early access on July 9th if you're ordering from outside the US, but I don't know that I trust them to actually provide that even if I were ordering from, say, London.
Did anyone who did the pre-order on Vecna before the switchover, or did it from outside the US where it was still promising early access, actually get that early access on Beyond? I'm not sure if I've seen confirmation on that.
I think I see the game now... they've been getting it set up for a new system in which customers only get early access if they are paying monthly for the higher tiers at D&D Beyond. At least, that's what it looks like on the pre-orders for the new core rulebooks - one week early for Hero, two weeks early for Master.
Also, funny that they're calling it the 2024 Monster Manual when it doesn't come out till 2025.

The Rod of Seven Parts does not appear in the Create Magic Item homebrewer as an existing template magic item. Only the individual pieces do.
Is this blob on the eye a graphics glitch, poor editing or actually significant in some way I have yet to figure out?
image 6 of 18, Vecna’s unholy symbol tattoo. I tried to copy the link to the graphic, but it points to the entire chapter.

edit : I see the image you mean.. it's just supposed to be a "light reflection" no significant meaning.

Which is it?
If you don't anger them, they won't rise up.
Simple.

I still have not received my physical book (ordered the bundle in February).

Is this thread being monitored by WotC / D&D Beyond staff?
Chapter 4
"As long as Glaive is around, the characters can’t finish an uninterrupted long rest inside Landro or in the caves of Mount Ironrot."
Glaive has no way to remove Tiny Hut, so this statement can't be true, and there are plenty of other methods to protect sleep at level 13.
What am I missing?
