Purchased my first item on D&D Beyond as a digital gift for somebody but the purchase seems to have been added to my account as a license instead of a gift.
Has anyone experienced this or have a solution? I've opened a support ticket but have yet to receive a response.

I have had this exact same issue. I have created a support ticket, but haven't heard anything yet.
It took about five weeks for this to get resolved on my end. They eventually refunded the purchase price and I tried again with success.
I also just experienced this, was there any way you got it to actually gift?
