Too large a thread to read through everything so apologise if this has been asked already, but how do we turn off ALL 2024 content at the character sheet level? Don't want to use 2024 rules and, as such, don't want to see anything relating to the new version at all. No relabeling, no 2024 versions of this or that, no 2024 rules text or tool tips. I just want to use the versions I own, i.e. the 2014 rules. Sitting on a canceled subscription unless all this stuff gets fixed. Makes the tool unusable as it stands.
the Tavern Brawler feat's Enhanced Unarmed Strike attack modifier only uses strength with no proficiency. It also doesn't benefit from anything that boosts unarmed attacks such as the Eldritch Claw Tattoo or the Wraps of Unarmed Prowess
Enhanced Unarmed Strike is also not working with the Barbarian's +2 from Rage.
Bug Report: Some major issues with the Ritual Caster feat, under both Core Rules and Legacy options. Where you should pick which score to increase (charisma, intelligence, or wisdom), the drop-down gives all of the following options: Bard, Charisma, Cleric, Druid, Intelligence, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wisdom, Wizard.
-Scores only increase if picking Charisma, Intelligence, or Wisdom.
-If you pick an ability score option, you are provided with an additional six drop-downs to pick spells, none of which actually get added to the character sheet and you can pick the same spell in each drop-down. Spell options are the same regardless of which ability score is selected.
-If you pick a Class option, you are provided with three drop-downs to pick spells regardless of what your proficiency bonus is. Picking Bard gives no spell options. Picking Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard seems to provide the correct spell list. However, the third drop-done never gives options and you can pick the same two spells from the first two drop-downs. Spells selected show up on character sheet (duplicate selections show multiple times on character sheet).
The current version of Eldritch Adept from TCOE is still only allowing you to get legacy invocations. Could there also be a version of the Feat that allows you to give the updated list of invocations (including the three pacts invocations)?
I noticed the same for Goliath advantage mark on all skills, and I think it's intended because of the following: The wording for powerful build is "You have Advantage on any saving throw you make to end the Grappled condition" (pg 192). When you pair that wording with the outset on page 14 that says "In some situations, the DM might allow you to apply your skill proficiency to a different ability check. For example, if a character tries to intimidate someone through a show of physical strength, the DM might ask for a Strength (Intimidation) check rather than a Charisma (Intimidation) check."
With that pairing a character could theoretically analyze the grapple for weak points and make an Intelligence (Athletics) or Strength (Investigation) check to break the grapple. Maybe the character tries to deceive the grappler with a story about how they have a highly contagious, necrotic skin conditions and the DM decides to ask for a Charisma (Deception) check to break the grapple. However it's sliced, the Goliath then has advantage. In the end, I think the intent is to get players be more descriptive about their actions and let the DM decide the check rather than say "can I do an ABC check to do XYZ."
Although, I would agree that it is a bit misleading/annoying to have the advantage mark on everything. Maybe they should make it a different color to show that it's situational.
It's been reported for years, are you ever going to fix the Unarmored Defense bug for Barbarians and Monks? No matter what armor you wear, it always shows your Unarmored Defense as your AC.
Homebrew: When creating a Subclass in 2024 or 2014 content, you can't choose already exstiting content to add to with homebrew anymore, the drop-down menu is empty.
Homebrew: The Button to add modifier to homebrew content (at least for feats, did not test other) isn't poppig up anymore. This means one can't add modifiers to feats anymore.
Choosing a Background from the extended content sometimes makes it impossible to choose your starting ability score increases. Origin Feats are not choosable at all for extended or Legacy backgrounds.
Ranger: Choosing the Fighting Style should open a second drop-down menu but it doesn't, can't choose your fighting style.
Paladin: Same Problem with fighting style as the Ranger.
Barbarian: Path of the Giant Sublass doesn't show up for 2024 Barbarian. I only own the Subclass not the full book, might be relevant.
Warlock: Its written in the summary above that alot of invations are not supported. Will this be changed? Legacy content invocations and full acces to 2024 invocations is quite important for the highly adeptable Warlock playstyle the 2024 class is supposed to be
I own the 2014 PHB but not the 2024 one. When I search through spells, I am unable to read the descriptions of any spells that were unchanged (and thus consolidated into a single version instead of given the legacy tag), because they are now paywalled. Even though they are completely unchanged from the 2014 rules.
Devouring Blade can not be selected properly as a 12th level invocation even if you are 12th level and have the thirsting blade prereqs (tried this with an archery patron).
Bug Report: I am unable to add existing Homebrew subclasses to characters using the 2024 Classes, even if I make sure no options are added until level 3.
The Classes are essentially two different classes now. 2014 and 2024. You will have to remake the subclass for the 2024 Class now.
I have the Master Tier subscription, logged in, can see the 2024 PHB content, created an entirely new character with Legacy and all other sources turned off, wanted to add a Potion of Healing to my inventory and it was not available.
Looked in the PHB and found the entry for "Brewing Potions of Healing" and when I hover over the "Potion of Healing" Tooltip it says "This is part of the PHB 2024 digital content pack. Click to visit the marketplace for purchasing options."
I have purchased it. That's how I could see the page in the first place.
There seems to be some disconnect between seeing the PHB book and accessing the items within it whilst I am viewing it in the early release to Master Tier users. Will this resolve once it is fully released?
If I turn on the Legacy option in the character generator home page, I can then add legacy Potions of Healing, but I was trying to create an entirely fresh character, based on an old one, for use with the new ruleset.
How do I get past this?
As a footnote, the next tooltip in the 2024 PHB, for "Spell Scroll" under "Scribing Spell Scrolls" links to legacy content.
EDIT: I did go to my Licenses page and check that my Account Entitlements were synced, and I cleared my cache too.
I tested a build path that I've planned out for my current character. (Paladin/Warlock) All of the class spells that are supposed to be always prepared are now 'At will' I'm not necessarily complaining, lol, but I don't think that's what was intended. Anyone else have that?
Variant Tiefling isn’t showing the spells granted by the species. New core Tiefling doesn’t have this variant version with vicious mockery and charm person.

I don't know if it's been reported yet but my 5th level Ranger doesn't have two attacks in the attack section of my character sheet.

If I'm picking up Silvery Barbs via Fey Touched feat, casting changes to "At will", instead of 1 use per day or using spellslot.

There are only legacy pistols (although the mastery does show up) and the fighters don't add their proficiency bonus to them for some reason.
Devouring Blade can not be selected properly as a 12th level invocation even if you are 12th level and have the thirsting blade prereqs (tried this with an archery patron).
Great Weapon Master doesn't show as a feat during character creation. Instead it shows Great Weapon Fighting (i.e., the fighting style). Funny
Also, Warcaster doesn't show as feat option.
Eldritch Adept feat does not show new invocation, only legacy ones

What is it that drives you?
Imagination and magic items... like the Dastardly Pouch of Debt Collection or the Silverstar.
My Homebrew list is here.
So is homebrewing Subclass just dead for 2024?
Yep this one here^^
