When choosing Fiendish Legacy, Cthonic, and choosing Charisma for spellcasting. Html tags visible. When in character sheet. Prociency not added to spell actions.
Still with Tiefling. Ray of Enfeeblment spell action appears as to hit instead of Spell save DC. In all honesty Ray of Enfeeblment in 2024 was range spell. However in 2024 the description no longer calls for range spell action.
Just out of curiosity, where are you getting "known" from? I haven't seen anywhere that staff has acknowledged what issues are confirmed and being worked on.
When a user selects a background from the Core Rules (2024 PHB) in the 2. Background tab of character builder, then subsequently selects "Custom Background" in that dropdown, the ASI option/dropdown that is expected in the 4. Abilities tab of character builder (below where stats are input, above score calculations) does not appear. To correct this bug, the user can select a background in the Background dropdown from the Expanded Rules section. This allows the ASI dropdown to appear, and the user is able to select "Custom Background" and the ASI selector in 4. Abilities remains to be displayed.
Potion of Healing issue has been mentioned earlier. It seems that there are two versions of the 2024 Potion of Healing. If you search Potion of Healing in the DnDBeyond, your get several matches. The first three matches are:
When creating a sorcerer the spells prepared limits to 15 at 17th despite the table showing it should be 19. Tried with both the 2024 subclasses and 2014 subclasses - was for a multi class character.
Feats that let you select features such as Fighting Initiate, Eldritch Adept, and Metamagic Adept are limited to their pre-2024 options.
I don't think any of those feats are in the 2024 PHB. Hence why you are seeing only the 2014 versions.
Another tremendous pity and a missed opportunity (but they kept Chef!!) Those were some of the best feats, made fighters, warlocks and sorcerers better at what they do and let melee characters dip into a fighting manouver or, in my case, my enchanter Wizard to quicken a mind spike before unleashing a hypnotic gaze.
It feels so weird to be wanting to homebrew the ever living *&#! Out of the brand new PHB already.
It's a pity they didn't UA the feats and Warlock Invocations or I'm pretty sure the consensus would have been to keep as much as possible.
It's weird that to make the characters I want to make I'm going to be using stuff from the previous edition to do so
On the Character Sheet under Shield Bash, it displays thusly in the popup:
If you attack a creature within 5 feet of you as part of the Attack action and hit with a Melee weapon, you can immediately bash the target with your Shield if it’s equipped, forcing the target to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 plus your Strength modifier and Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, you either push the target 5 feet from you or cause it to have the Prone condition (your choice). You can use this benefit only once on each of your turns.
However is displays like this on the character sheet:
If you attack a creature within 5 ft of you as part of the Attack action with a Melee weapon, you can immediately bash the target with your Shield if it's equipped. The target must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 modifer:str+proficiency#signed - Invalid keyword: modifer). On a failed save, you either push the target 5 ft. from you or cause it to be Prone (your choice). You can use this once per turn.

Don't forget this is early access, wait until the official release date as they still have time to make changes and finish the implementation
Doesn't feel like early access, more like Beta Testing!
The list of unsupported features is embarrassing (particularly as I am organising a new DND group and am struggling to justify telling new players to start using D&DB in it's current state.)
Regarding subclass selection on the character sheet: - Currently the only two classes that are fully restricting Expanded Rules subclasses are the Barbarian and Cleric. All other classes are granting the ability to select Expanded Rules subclasses without ownership of those sourcebooks.
- The 3 subclasses from Wildmount (Echo Knight, Chronugy Wizard, and Graviturgy Wizard) are unavailable.
- The only 3 other subclasses that are unaccounted for are the Arcane Archer Fighter, Oathbreaker Paladin, and Phantom Rogue.
We're about to reach end of week 1, and Hero Tier will gain access next.
Can there PLEASE be a new post on what bugs were slain during the course of the Master Tier beta testing campaign? So people piling from the Hero Tier are at least made aware what currently are the issues, and what bugs are fixed but spawns new issues.
Probably already been mentioned, but Goliath's Powerful Build which should PROBABLY only provide advantage to ATHLETICS, maybe Acrobatics, for sake of escaping a grapple is being listed under every skill proficiency.
Paladins spellcasting feature does not allow to prepare spells but forces user to choose learn spells. Always prepared spells therefore do not show in the spells tab.
I dont know if it's just with me, but there's a bug with sorcerer where the number of spells known from level 11 to level 18 does not match the numbers shown in the prepared spells column. It stays at 15 spells known starting at level 11 and then jumps straight to 21 at level 19.

Once it's been posted on this thread, it's considered known.
Playing high charisma characters with no real life charisma - the only fantasy that still eludes me.
My Wizard spell selections are not showing on my character sheet.
Apologies if this bug has already been reported.

Some Legacy/Expanded Invocations still not available in character builder. Book of Ancient Secrets is one in particular.
Warlocks with Pact of the Blade invocation still not showing their PB modifier on the to hit column.

Sign we are progressing would be nice, thanks <3

The new Spell Sniper and War Caster feats are not available to select.

In addition: the new Mage Slayer feat does not have a "charge" / box you can check when the once per short rest ability has been expended
