When creating a 2024 Paladin with a 2014 subclass you dont get the usage checkbox for channel divinity on the character sheet. Also the subclass spells that should be always prepared dont get added to your prepared spells.
Same with the Warlock, when you create a 2024 Warlock with a 2014 subclass the subclass spells that should be always prepared dont get added to your learned spells.
2014 subclasses don't trigger many abilities or spells with DND Beyond, because the scripts in the app are tied to the 2014 version of the class. So, when you attach a 2014 subclass to a 2024 class, it's very wonky. ... A workaround is to create a homebrew subclass that exactly matches the old one, but is tied instead to the core 2024 subclass.
I have the 2024 PHB, yet everything I print contains the Free Rules as reference. I want the PHB and the page in the PHB as reference, not the free rules.
As the new classes are backwards compatible - we’ve ensured that all the previous subclasses from books published by Wizards of the Coast work without any issues for the 2024 classes.
Path of the Giant Barbarian, Arcane Archer Fighter, and Phantom Rogue don't appear under the 2024 classes.
Phantom and Arcane Archer aren't listed as supported but there doesn't appear to be any explanation like with the Chronurgist/Graviturgist/Echo Knight which despite being published by WotC seem to be categorized as partnered content. Is there an ETA on when these two will be re-implemented?
More confusingly, Giant Barbarian IS listed as supported but doesn't show up. My entitlements are in sync and I own the subclass, but regardless of any of the toggles only appears on the 2014 Barbarian and not the 2024 Barbarian.

Path of the Giant appears in Extended Rules in the dropdown for me. Not bugged like the other two. Make sure you have Extended Rules on for the character, since you already said you own the book and entitlements are synced.
Note about all CR content: Despite being printed by WotC, this was still through a partnership. Note in the credits:
The world of Exandria, its groups of individuals, its elements, its distinctive characters, and its locations are the sole property of Critical Role.
I imagine it's something low on the priority list, but 2014 warlock invocations that were not reprinted should still be accessible for the sake of backward compatibility.
Sure I understand there is an argument for the ones granting a spell to be removed as they give access to deprecated spells that have been rewritten, but an invocation like Tomb of Levistus or Cloak of Flies should be accessible in 2024 until they are overriden in future publications.
The PHB (2014) subclasses for rhe Figther class is not available even though I've checked that the radio button for Legacy content is set in the cjaracter sertings.

All 3 subclasses from the 2014 PHB were reprinted in the 2024 PHB, and therefore will never be available in the 2024 Fighter as they were, you can only use the updated versions. To use any updated version past Champion, you need to own the 2024 PHB.
That is intended behavior. It only affects skill checks.

Here's a new one (I searched this thread, couldn't find anything else on this)... Rogues with the Thief subclass are being given a Flying speed, both on the Character Sheet and in the Combat Tracker, under Encounters. I'm pretty sure it's from the subclass, since it does give a climb speed, but flying is a new one... Never seen that happen before.
My digital+physical 2024 bundle got an order cancelled notice. I already received the digital player’s handbook as well as the digital dice and the dragon art book pdf thing. I figured something must have happened with my credit card, so I went in and ordered it again and it told me I already owned all three books digitally. So reordered the physical books. Now I read online that it’s a WOTC SNAFU. I probably got charged double. Please fix. I still want my books. I don’t want two copies and I don’t want to pay double. Un-SNAFU yourselves.
Thanks,
This is a similar issue I have been having I got the digital stuff but then got a email that my physical book was canceled. I send a email though dnd beyond contact us and got a response that they would try the payment and order again in 24 hours well guess what it mysteriously canceled itself again I have double checked all credit card info to make sure it is up to date and it is. They really need to fix this issue i want the physical book too not just the digital one. I have sent another message through the site explaining this we will see have they say now.
I have a level 7 wizard (2024), order of scribes, who had the original (2014) version of conjure minor elementals (4th level) in his spellbook. It has changed to the 2024 version of conjure minor elementals, and the legacy version is not available to add. Other legacy spells, such as the 4th level summons spells are available to add, and the legacy version is available on my 2014 wizard.

This affected one of the players in my game as well. I can even see keeping the old ones that do require a slot as if the player wants to do it that way go ahead! Just know the newer ones are much better for you.
Between this and no Arcane Archer subclass backwards compatibility we may just stop playing until they can get something we like. No one wants to retcon their characters with a rebuild.
I was making a new ranger. At level 2, it gives the option to choose a fighting style feat, but then there was no drop down menu to actually choose the style/feat.
The paladin has the same problem at level 2.

The new poisoners kit doesn't describe what you can do with it like the legacy version does.

Also Superior Critical does display the effect just the title, on the actions page.
Warcaster is now an option i can take but the effect doesnt show up in my character sheets saving throws (it does show up under my feats though)
Bard - Jack of All Trades (2024) doesn’t add half prof bonus to initiative like the 2014 version.

This is as designed. They took away the Super Awesome ability of the Bard to add Jack of All Trades to Initiative, Dispel, and Counterspell checks.
