The enhanced damage of Unarmed Fighting (Fighting Style Feat) is not showing on Action list. The enhanced damage of Tavern Brawler (Origin Feat) is showing on Action list, so I think one by Unarmed Fighting should also be there.
Some items are still only the legacy version, in particular the new version of the wizard's spellbook, which functions quite differently from the old one. Also, the free spells from the Evoker's savant ability aren't added to the spellbook and count as always prepared
Whenever I want to pick a Mystic Arcanum for my Warlock, I don't have the following options to choose from now, some of which are in the 2024 Player's Handbook, while others are from Tasha's Cauldron of Everything:
6th
Arcane Gate
Mental Prison
Scatter
Soul Cage
Summon Fiend
Tasha's Bubbling Cauldron
Tasha's Otherworldly Guise
7th
Crown of Stars
Dream of the Blue Veil
Power Word Pain
8th
Maddening Darkness
9th
Blade of Disaster
Psychic Scream
Would really appreciate some help with this, thank you!
I can't use Critical Role subclasses with the new core rule classes. I was trying to build an Echo Knight with the new rules and it doesn't even show up as an option.
Barbarians that select the Path of the Berserker subclass do not get the Frenzy ability added to their Actions tab to allow them to click-to-roll the extra dice of damage they do in combat. Brutal Strike works just fine this way, but Frenzy was neglected.
If you want to use it like Brutal Strike or Sneak Attack, where you just click the button to roll the extra dice to accompany your weapon damage, then you'll have to add it manually using the "Manage Custom" feature.
I've seen some improvements allowing 2024 Classes with a 2014 Sublass to use 2024 Spells wich is awesome.
Artificer still is stuck using 2014 spells wich is still very disappointing. Hopefully there is a plan to fix this soon. I assume the 2024 spells are acceptable to the 2024 Core Classes only. Really pits Artificer in a tough spot on DnD Beyond. Not how I would rule it on the table top though.
Now that DnD Beyond isn't fully updating Tool Tips to 2024 PHB Spell how will backwards compatibility for monsters in older books be implemented on the site i.e. I want to run Niv-Mizzet from GMGtR?
On the table top this is really easy, but will I have to homebrew Niv-Mizzet and change every tooltip to reflect the 2024 spells??
When creating a 2024 Ranger, I noticed that I couldn't select a Fighting Style Feat for Lv. 2: Fighting Style. Druidic Warrior is currently the only option I can take for that feature.
I imagine it's something low on the priority list, but 2014 warlock invocations that were not reprinted should still be accessible for the sake of backward compatibility.
Sure I understand there is an argument for the ones granting a spell to be removed as they give access to deprecated spells that have been rewritten, but an invocation like Tomb of Levistus or Cloak of Flies should be accessible in 2024 until they are overriden in future publications.
I’m struggling with this one, as well. I want to replicate my existing warlock using 2024 rules so I can switch from Hexblade to another subclass while maintaining some the same invocations I use with the 2014 warlock. Obviously not everything is the same, such as losing medium armor proficiency among others, but I have no options to use some of the 2014 invocations that weren’t replaced. My favorite for role play and flavor is Eyes of the Runekeeper, but it isn’t an option.
i hope this gets fixed soon, because not having the expanded legacy 2014 options limits the flexibility that makes the warlock so fun.
I know there is a low chance if this being addressed, but I figured I'd point it out just in case. The new Monk's martial art's feature says that monk weapons include all "simple melee weapons". This means the Dhampir lineage's Fanged Bite damage die should scale with martial arts die since it counts as a simple melee weapon.
So, to expand on the hang-ups with Legacy Invocations, I tried taking the Eldritch Adept feat from TCoE on a 2024 Warlock, but instead of seeing a full list of invocations with the ability to scroll down, I only see a partial the 2024 level 2+ options, and even there it cuts off at Misty Visions rather than running to the end of the level 2+ 2024 options.
That's not a bug, it's a feature. When you take the Divine Order: Thaumaturge option, your WiS modifier is added to the iNT checks for Arcana and Religion.

Hello so when I make spellcasters from the new phb I don't get access to all my homebrew spells. Is this intentional? Less important but will the critical role stuff be supported for 2024 classes eventually?

That isn't a bug. Third party subclasses aren't supported yet normally, however you CAN make a hombrew version of the sublass and add the 2024 class tags onto it

Warlock and Paladin Multiclass Spellslots not working as intended.
Bug! "dead" under Character Demise in the 2024 PHB links to the Free Rules Glossary instead of the PHB Glossary
Edit: So do a lot of other glossary entries in that chapter of the 2024 phb

Is there any update on the timeline of adding the missing 2014 backwards compatible subclasses?
Guys add support for partnered content subclasses.

I am not a clever man

One day I'll get to track Dread Ambusher on the Gloomstalker Ranger 😔😔😔
