Bug Report for dndbeyond character builder: As a 2024 Bard, I cannot select the Colledge of Tragedy subclass from Critical Role even though I own and have enabled that 3rd party content. The same holds for the Chronurgy and Graviturgy Wizard - and probably all other 3rd party subclasses, even though I have only checked for some.
Fixed this by creating a homebrew subclass for the 24-Bard from scratch and then copy over all features from the 3rd party subclass for the 14-Bard. I cannot understand though why it's seemingly not possible to fix this, and I really ask myself if this wave of including various 3rd party content that became unusable just a few month later with the introduction of the 24 PHB is just a big scam.

It appears to be a licensing problem, so it's technically possible, but not legally so.
Hello, everyone, and happy Player's Handbook release day! We're back with more bug fixes for you. If these aren't resolving for you, try clearing your cache.
As an additional note: many of the fixes listed here are inclusive of multiple reported issues (e.g. resolving ‘at-will’ spell issues affected every at-will spell—no need to list spells out by class); though these lists may be small, there’s a lot being resolved!
It's been 4 weeks since we had a staff post on this thread. Am I the only one who's noticed the complete drop off on communication across the site lately?
Why haven't we seen an update since Sept 17th on the front page? Is anyone still working on these bugs?
They are. We've seen updates in the character sheets themselves, even if they're not being open about bugfixes in the forums and blogs. They're just understaffed.
Number of staff could be an issue, but focusing on the wrong things also makes a difference. The long term trend has been that dndbeyond tries to force themselves into a saturated market by pushing their own VTT, meanwhile paying little attention to what actually brought people to the site in the first place: the character builder that had (almost) all official content neatly integrated into it. Well that and the ability to buy precisely the content that you wanted, but that feature is already gone. Imagine if just a small fraction of the resources poured into making the VTT had gone to fixing the character sheets instead.
You can’t take the lessons of the first one invocation twice. Even though you are supposed to be able to. It’s just not an option anymore, when you have selected it before.
The PBH briefly blunk out of my possession, even with entitlements & licenses synced, then returned midway through filing a support ticket. Don't know why. Might want to look into that.

That is a management problem. WOTC, get everything 2024 fixed - YESTERDAY! I want what I'm paying you for.
So can anyone on this thread get ahold of an employee that can help me with a damaged physical PHB. After a month and over 10 emails and 2 tickets on the website. No one has replied to me.
So, uh...it's the 10th of October. How come you guys haven't figured out a way to separate 2014 monk die and 2024 monk die yet? It's screwing up 2014 monk builds.
In a campaign. Dungeon Master has purchased OneDND content including Player's Handbook 2024. They shared it with the campaign via Master tier. As a player, I can access 2024 Paladin, but I don't see the Oath of Glory subclass. From what I can tell, this is in Player's Handbook 2024. Is that correct? Anyone else have a similar issue?

Make sure the character you're making is actually associated with that campaign. You have to join the campaign with that character or it won't have access to options from the shared content.
I purchased a hardcopy of PHB 2024, and can definitely show you proof of purchase. Do I need to purchase a digital copy from you in order to have access to this on my DND Beyond, or is there something that can be done for my account without it costing me an additional 30 dollars? I'm going to be purchasing digital/hard copy of DMG 2024 direct from this website, but would like to save 30 dollars if possible for PHB. Thanks in advance.

Digital is a separate purchase from physical. Thus the bundles.

They've said they're working on it.

A walking D&D Beyond AdA D&D Beyond SubscriberFor some reason, the cleric has aid always prepared regardless of subclass (even without a subclass!)
They are probably working more towards the Dungeon Master Guide right now.

Numbers go up tho.
Anyway...

Psychic Blades for the Soul Knife subclass are finesse weapons but only use Dex even if Str is higher.

Hi, anyone else have this issue?

Tacking onto this, my 5.0 druid also has aid showing up in his prepared spells, so it's not just the 5.5 druid.
But my 5.0 ranger does not have aid. That said he's lv5 in case it's something that triggers at a higher level.
This is a signature. It was a simple signature. But it has been upgraded.
Belolonandalogalo, Sunny | Draíocht, Kholias | Eggo Lass, 100 Dungeons
Tendilius Paxaramus, Drakkenheim | Talorin Tebedi, Vecna: Eve
Cherry, Stormwreck | Chipper, Strahd

Get rickrolled here. Awesome music here. Track 41, 12/1/24, O Come Divine Messiah
I wonder if it has to do with another language, due to "Help" and "Aid" sharing meanings in quite a few languages.
Either way, if it's a site-wide issue, it should by prioritized for a fix.
