"Investigation" doesn't appear as one of the Warlock's core proficiencies anymore.
It's there in the drop-down for me. However, it won't appear in the drop-down if you already have proficiency in it from another source, like a species feature. Take a look for that.

Thanks. I think I might have already selected it in the "Skilled" feat.
The evocation wizard should get two additional spells at level 3 and then one more at level 5 because of new spell slot (in addition to the normal 9 spells). Character creation doesn't ask for the level up to 3 spell and list the two u got for free as always prepared (which is written nowhere).
Looks like beyond is confused with the new system.
Just ignore the savant feature on the character builder (it probably shouldn't be there, anyway) and choose extra spells in the spellbook.
I have a feeling those issue will end up like Tasha AKA unadressed
Inspired by this comment, I took a look at how the dndbeyond staff have treated the two issues and support threads.
The one for Tasha's initially had a lot of interaction with the staff, often with multiple posts per day. Not only were the posts frequent, but also informative. As time moved on, the posts got less and less frequent. The last one is dated Jun 1, 2022, so over two years ago, which I guess sort of matches when they stopped caring.
This thread has had a total of two staff reponses to date, both from September.
Warlock Eldritch Invocations "Lessons of the First Ones" is still not repeatable. You can pick it once, but not a second time. The rules specifically say this Invocation is repeatable.
(the work around is to leave an Invocation unchosen for each time you take "Lessons of the First Ones" past the first time, so that you're not taking too many invocations. Then go to the character sheet view, to go Features and Traits tab, scroll to the bottom where the Feats section is, and click on "Manage Feats". This will, for better or worse, let you add as many extra feats as you want... you can use that to add a qualifying feat that you would have taken with Lessons of the First Ones, if the D&DB character builder was working correctly).
Not sure if I would call this a bug as much as I'd call it an inconvenience:
While 2024 feats and subclasses will select the new version of a spell that the feature grants ... the subclasses, species, feats, etc. in rule expansion supplements like the Bigby book for Giants does not allow you to pick the new version of the spell over the old version of the spell. You're forced to use the Legacy version of any particular spell that the rules expansion books grant to a character. There should be an option for this.
Hi, I have submitted a request for support because my hardback book was delivered damaged. I heard nothing for 6 weeks and then my support request has disappeared. Is there any chance someone could actually look at this and sort it out? I like the new rulebook but don't expect to have to accept a damaged book.
The original request was under 4098140 and I was emailed on the 31st October asking for the order number which I provided on the original request. I also provided a load more images on a follow up request, 4134764, but that was solved with no update.
If someone could help that would be ideal as I just want an undamaged book.
This has stopped me pre-ordering the DMG as I don't think the customer service is there and don't just want another damaged book if this is how hard it is to replace it.
Technically this is a compatibility issue with older material, but it relates to the 2024 rules:
Eldritch Adept doesn't let you pick Invocations from the 2024 rules (nothing about the wording of the Eldritch Adept feat implies you are limited to earlier rules).

I think this goes back to backwards compatibility and the pre-req uses the term Pact Magic feature. They are technically not 'features' in 2024 PHB. They are all Invocations, so until WotC comes out with any errata or Sage Advice, that feat only works with 2014 subclasses exclusively and only the non-revised 2014 Invocations.

Pact Magic is the Warlock feature that allows casting spells. It’s still there in 2024. I think you’re thinking of Pact Boon, which was removed in 2024 and its options turned into Invocations. That has nothing to do with Eldritch Adept, though.

As wagnarokkr pointed out, you seem to be thinking of the Pact Boons, which aren't a requirement for Eldritch Adept.
The only requirement is either having a spellcasting feature or pact magic feature (so, basically, any spell caster can take it if they're a spellcaster by any class or any subclass, not via Feats nor Race/Species), and that if the Eldritch Invocation has pre-reqs, you have to be a Warlock who meets those pre-reqs. So there's no direct reason to believe that Eldritch Adept can only work with non-revised pre-2024 EI's ... but that's what the D&DB Character Builder is doing: limiting you to pre-2024 EI's when you take them via Eldritch Adept.

If this website at least had a changelog for bugfixes like other platforms (Roll 20, Foundry, etc), I think people would at least tolerate the lack of response from the staff. But without one, we have no idea if any complaints are being addressed, and that's a big mistake on their end

I think this tells us all we need to know. Customer experience and subscriber loyalty do not even feature in their plans.

Just popping in to say this update to 2024 ruleset on DnD Beyond has been a total mess.
Sooooo many bugs to report. I've filed at least three and none have received attention in over a month.
This debacle should make us all reconsider membership and subscriptions to such an inept service.
Pity the poor devs tasked with carrying out such bizarre management decisions.
And all God's people said "Amen!"

Ritual Caster feat doesn't add spells to spell list
The item Map or Scroll Case is labeled as a container, but doesn't function as a container like a pouch or backpack.
I don't remember if I've posted this before but the poisoner feat doesn't actually add the poisoner kit proficiency to the sheet
