I purchased a digital copy of the 2014 players guide specifically to get the monk subclass of “way of the shadow”, but it didn’t show up after it synchronised. Then I came here to not even see it listed as an option. Why is it not listed, as it’s in the base subclasses of the players guide? When can I expect to have this included, or should I get my money back on all my digital titles and give up on the character creator that can’t even supply the basic subclasses in a 10 year old resource.

You may be using the 2024 version of the Monk class without having access to the 2024 Player’s Handbook. If you want to use the 2014 version, go to the Class tab in the character builder and change your class to the 2014 version of the Monk class. You may need to scroll down to find it.
The snippet for the Abjure Foes action for Paladins has a typo. It reads: "... you can target up to 4 that you can see within 60 ft." That sentence is missing the word "creatures" after the number 4 (or however many they can target).
The drop down menu for the "Skilled" feat does not contain "Perception" as an option. And no I don't have it selected somewhere else, plus even if I did it's apparently possible with this feat to get double proficiency in something, because 2 skills already granted by the background "Charlatan" are also included in the drop down.
Edit: just tried double selecting to see if that worked and it doesn't. But then I thought her maybe Perception will be in the new options with all the other skills. It is not.
So then I tried changing my class to Did to see if it was available in that drop down menu. It is not.
So it is actually completely impossible to have proficiency in Perception in the new character builder.

Untrue. I just tried modifying one of my characters with the Skilled trait. Perception is definitely in the menu. You might try creating a new character with a different name, or modifying an existing character you no longer use, through the character management panels.
There seems to be a bug with ritual spell casting time if the spell would take more than 1 action to cast, the casting time gets added to the ritual time automatically (e.g 1 minute + 10 minutes shows a casting time of 11 minutes)
It seems to not affect ritual spells that take an action as they still display as 1 action + 10 minutes

There is a big flaw on the site right now.. And it is showing on character sheets.. If you are playing the 2014 players handbook rules, then the monk deals 1d8 damage at lvl 5/6, and it should be dealing 1d6 damage.. Also the Javeling deals 1d8 damage now.. It have always been 1d6. even in the new 2024 players handbook.. Is it a fail in the code or what is it? There are prolly more bug/mistakes/fails. but that's just something my group have noticed.

The Martial Arts damage progression thing is a bug that's been reported a number of times in this thread and others.
The Javelin is showing as 1d8 damage because of the same issue (it's a Monk weapon, so it inherits the Martial Arts damage die).
Oh okay so it is a bug.. And hopefully being worked on?
If you look at the very first post in this thread, you'll see it says this:
Martial Arts. We don't have a method of disambiguating the Martial Arts granted by the 2014 Monk and the one from the 2024 Monk. As such, all Monks will temporarily match the 2024 Monk's Martial Arts Die until we’re able to fix this.
Which is the best information we have on it currently.
We are a small group, we do not speak english well, we are starters, we are inexperienced, we have families, we have small freetime. We want to stuck to the rules we learned and maybe we would like to try out 2024 later in another campaign. But now we have started it in 2014 rules. How can we change the Core rules to 2014? For example Grapple and weapons and thing always show up the new way. I am reading the forums for an hour now, and I can't even find it.
When I was playing a 2024 Sorcerer 5th level, casting CHAOS BOLT, clicking on the damage dice only rolls 2d8, but not the additional 1d6. (I recommend players switch to Chromatic Orb, instead, as I don't know whether this will be fixed as Chaos Bolt is from XGTE.)
i have this too and its annyoing submitted a ticket will see what they say

No problem!

This is correct by the rules.
I assume they didn't bother with it for action-cast spells because 10 min plus six seconds is functionally ten minutes.
