Some other folks have run into this already - but just to be clear, here's what I can see:
- If you attempt to purchase (preorder) the 2024 PHB Digital Version only if you are located outside the USA, you'll get a "some input fields are invalid" error and you will not be able to complete the purchase. I'm in Canada, fyi.
- There is a link that redirects to Wizards (https://dndstore.wizards.com/us) for "shipments outside the united states" which only shows Physical + Digital Bundles available for preorder.
Can we get a clarification here? Is this a bug or is everything working as intended, and it's not intended for the digital version of the PHB to be available to non-US customers unless they're also buying the physical copy as well? Seems counterintuitive to me.
I have purchase the Physical+Digital bundle PHB2024 two weeks ago, so far I have received the physical version yesterday (Spain EUROPE), the Redeem key isn't working and Support doesn't answer, I have a message saying "This code has already been redeemed and cannot be used". I let you know if I have any answer from support.
D&D Beyond 2024 Player's Handbook [Online Game Code] is available on Amazon now, so that should work if you're having trouble paying through the D&D Beyond site. I live in Japan and was having similar problems (different error message, but I couldn't pay by credit card or PayPal).
After you enter the code, it will show up in your licenses, but you won't be able to access it until it officially launches for everyone on D&D Beyond. This is what it says in my licenses tab: (Player’s Handbook (2024) (Pre-order) Available 17 September 2024 15:40 UTC), so a few hours yet, as of writing this.
minedeplomb2445, check your licenses (click on Account on the main dndbeyond.com site, and click the Licenses tab) to see if it's listed there. It could be that you're getting that message because it's already there. If you don't have a subscription, it won't be available until the official launch time, but it'll show up in Licenses.
I checked, and I have the licence, for the PHB2024, I have received the Physical PHB.
but as far I as know I can't donwload the PDF with the redeem key. I have a message "You own this digital product" on the PHB2024 message in the shop.
I have used the redeem key as soon as it was available, and this was before 09/17/2024. Until then I have "this code has already been used" message when I try to use the key.
The support asked for deleting Firefox cache and things like that but, nonsense to me. I am waiting for the "Turn it off and On again definitive message"
So far an answer takes almost a week form support...I send them the proof of purchase and everything except the key. Plus they must know that before 09/17 it was impossible to download the PHB. This means that ita so well packed that using the redem key before release date is accepted but you loose the chance to download the digital PHB. This also means that you only have a chance to download or there is something else I don't know...
I don't have the PDF, and support remains silent for 8 days now. I don't know what to think about the support's silence. I do have access to PHB2024 on D&D Beyond. But it's not a “downloadable” version, and the term “downloadable” clearly appears on the confirmation email I received. So the fact that the key doesn't work makes sense, except for the “downloadable” part.
It could be a translation error, but for me, it's a deception on the purchased product. But in fact they don't name D&D Beyond nor "PDF", the exact word is "Digital plus physical version". If I don't get an answer, I'll certainly ask for a full refund.

The D&D Beyond version is digital, but it's not a PDF. You can download it with the D&D Beyond mobile app, but you need to access it through the app. It isn't a file you can copy or move like a PDF is.
I don't think WotC has made any of their books available in PDF form.

I don't know if anybody is using the "book" on D&D Beyond, it's almost unreadable. Frankly, i'm disappointed. The only good point is that they update the "book".
I'm having issues trying to purchase the 2024 PHB through DnD Beyond. I add the digital book to the cart, but when I click on the "Next" button to get to enter the Purchasing information, the button flashes blue, but I remain on the shipping page. I tried other books, and I get the same thing.
As anyone else had this issue? I was successful in the past back in 2022.
Any advice or help would be appreciated. I opened 2 tickets on this issue, but I can't seem to access them when I click on the link in the automatic email from support.

Having the same issue! Why is this USA only?! That’s not made clear anywhere.
edit: Solution! If you use Apple Pay or pay pal instead of manually inputting your credit card it WILL let you buy digital only through dnd beyond!

Weird, I'm in Canada and Amazon tells me my region isn't supported.
Yeah that's what ended up working for me as well, going through Paypal.
