You have chosen the 2024 cleric and thus it follows the 2024 cleric creation rules. You have to scroll down and select the 2014 version of the class and then the cleric domain is selectable at level 1.
Scroll down where exactly, thedragonbg? I can't find anything on my character builder >:(
The option was the Paladins Oath of Watchers. It is lo longer visible on D&D Beyond with our subscription (to 2014 phb). And there's no way of knowing up front if it will become available (as a legacy option) if we go ahead and pay up for a 2024 subscription.
Oath of the Watchers seems to be classified under “Expanded Rules”. It’s still avalible and is not yet classified as legacy. It’s from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. Did you have Tasha’s already?

Yep, we have Tasha's ... and my switch (in the Home tab) is set to accept Legacy ... but no Oath of Watchers. As I mentioned before, the only thing we don't have is the 2024 PHB. This says to me that D&D Beyond is now fully-engaged 2024 and that if you haven't bought the 2024 PHB, you can only get the free basic 2024 rules (not the 2014 rules) which doesn't let you access anything else from 2014 except the spells (and don't get me started on navigating that shipwreck!).
Yep. So I log in, go thru the campaign, select character, go to character builder and into Class. Then Class Features, then Available at Higher Levels. Scroll down to Sacred Oaths where only one option (Oath of Devotion) is offered.
I've been having the same issue of 2024 crap forcing it's way into all my "Legacy" and even after turning off all the 2024 junk me and my players are STILL getting a bunch of 2024 crap all the time. We've just said **** it and all of us cancelled our subscriptions here and are using Roll20 and pen and paper now for online and in person games now. Good job DnDBeyond and WotC, that's yet another group of customers/consumers you have ran off from your brand for your piss poor handling of the 2024 new edition. At least ******* has a 2014 version of their site and database and still has EVERY BOOK for 5e.

Hmmm. Did you originally build the character, or did your DM/campaign owner?
I'm honestly not sure what's wrong. I'm still able to select Oath of the Watchers for both 2014 and 2024 paladin.
I will say that while the "Available at higher levels" blub does suggest 'oath of devotion' it's not limited to it, it's just a suggestion.
What mine says is: "Now you choose the Oath of Devotion detailed at the end of the class description or one from another source."
Try advancing your character to level 3, and see if the option is there.
@Bubbler3D I'm not sure you'll ever see this. I used to use google docs to create a character. Just type it in line by line. I even had all the level bonuses in there as well. You might even be able to convert a character sheet to PDF or doc. They are probably already available. I hate pencil and paper but go for it.

Thanks, all, for your help.
I'll just go ahead and level up and see what happens.

I did see it and we're all players that have been around since 3.5 days so pen and paper, well technically pencil and paper, is far better for us than having to deal with spreadsheet and formulas for simple things like character sheets. That's just way over complicating something that's already very simple and straight forward. In case you couldn't tell, I despise and abhor spreadsheets, we're playing a game not trying to run a business. Thanks but no thanks for the spreadsheet idea.

Make sure the Legacy switch is on on the Home tab under the creator…

Do you also have expanded rules enabled?
Do you have Expanded Rules switch enabled?
Watchers is in the Expanded Rules, not Legacy.

We are all in danger!
