Obviously a little late to the party, but my group is also having the same issues with the notes/extras and inventory.
Problem has been ongoing since at-least September 24th (which is when the first thread I found was started).
Good to hear, there is a solution and appreciate that you will let us know.
While waiting for the fix, you can update the various text boxes from the Character Builder interface.
Still bugged in Character Sheet Mode. Works fine in builder mode.
Still cannot access Appearance box.
Watch your back, conserve your ammo,and NEVER cut a deal with a dragon!
I've been informed that as of about 2.5 hours ago this has been fixed.
