At the beginning of each class under the "Becoming a [CLASS]..." there are 2 headings: "As a Level 1 Character" and "As a Multiclass Character". I have both the physical and digital copies and there is a discrepancy between the 2 sources. In the physical book, every class says (for example, with Bard): "As a Level 1 Character" and "As a Multiclass Character". But on the DnDBeyond digital copy, it says: "As a Level 1 Bard" and "As a Multiclass Bard". Unfortunately, when written this way it can be confusing, because when starting as a different class then multiclassing into (for example) Bard, your ARE a level 1 Bard, but you are NOT a level 1 Character. Most of us know what the RAI is, but they aren't even matching the physical book for some reason, which is bizarre. It isn't even consistent with each class on the digital side. It looks like it is just 5 classes written the "wrong" way - Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, and Monk.
