I own the new 2024 PHB, which includes Oath of Vengeance for Paladin subclasses. The character creator will not allow me to choose Oath of Vengeance though.
I own the 2014 PHB and various other "Legacy" sources: and No I don't have any interest in the 2024 stuff.
I've had an Oath of Vengeance Paladin in my collection for a while; I made it a very long time ago.
Now, when I look at it, none of the details from Oath of Vengeance show up in the character creator. I can still Choose it but none of the descriptive text shows up. It just says "Character options from older sources that may conflict with the Core Rules. These include sources that are out of print or created for charity."
What's going on with this? The change logs said old stuff would still work... Is there some setting that I now have to go and check?

Oath of Vengeance on the legacy Paladin works fine for me. All the class and subclass features and spells are showing up for me correctly in the character builder and character sheet.
What do you mean by detail? Class and subclass features?
I was able to figure out how to solve the issue, but it requires rebuilding the character. For whatever reason, when you try to convert a prebuilt 2014 character to the 2024 rules not all of the options are available. I was able to build a new (copy) of the character and all of the options were available. I would have thought if I turn off legacy content on the old character build that it would then make me choose 2024 rules, but instead it just shows that the options are just not available. This was the case with some of the spells as well. Anyhow, as stated I was able to fix it, but it required a new copy of the character starting with the 2024 rules.
I believe I could have avoided the user error, churn, by just simply leaving 2014 legacy rules on along with the 2024 rules and then selecting which rules I wanted the character to use. The reason I state that is because I remember the day after the 2024 PHB released I had options to use the legacy spells or new 2024 version of the spells. I assume it would have provided the same option if I would have left legacy selected on the overall home page of the character sheet as I continued to develop, level up, the character.

Did you buy the PHB on Beyond? Make sure you check your entitlements and that they are in sync.
