I'm trying to add homebrew spells (linked below) to a homebrew character (also linked below). I have tried everything and triple checked everything is right according to similar comments I've read. I even opened a subscription just to see if that would do anything. Things I've tried include;
Have you enabled homebrew on that character? Yes.
Is that homebrew spell in your homebrew collection? Yes, I made them.
Is the spell assigned to the proper class and level to be available to your character? Yes, I've even checked to make sure it's the correct year (Sorcerer, Level 10).
All spells are correctly leveled and don't have any restrictive elements.
I also created a dummy campaign just to see if I could port the character over there and add the spells. No luck. I still had the same problem.
I am unable to add them to my character sheet and at this point, I'm beyond frustrated. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Your character is using the 2014 version of the Sorcerer class. Are the spells maybe only on the list for the 2024 version of the Sorcerer class? As far as D&D Beyond is concerned, they're separate classes.
I've triple-checked that. My character is 2014 Sorcerer but as far as I can tell, the spells aren't specific to the 2024 version. At least not that I can tell. Some of the spells are marked as Aberrant Sorcery but my character is an Aberrant Mind Sorcery so that checks out.

Just to be clear, when you're editing the homebrew spell(s), under "Available For Class(es)", do you see the "Sorcerer" class listed twice?
At the risk of sounding like a shady car mechanic, well, there's your problem. "Aberrant Sorcery" is a subclass for the 2024 Sorcerer. The analogous subclass for the 2014 Sorcerer is called "Aberrant Mind". Switch it to that one (or throw both on there) and it should work.
Okay. One more question. I kinda published them in hopes that would work. Meaning I can't edit them anymore. Is there a way I can edit them without completing remaking them? Edit: Figured it out. Disregard this comment.

You can't edit a published one, but there should be a link to "Create a New Version" which will let you create a modified version that supersedes the previous one. It keeps a log of all the previous versions on the published page.
Also: you should never add in an official subclass in the Available For Classes box because this can cause errors on the sheet - and would apply automatically to everybody in the same campaign as you that uses that subclass. Since you published it this means it would affect everyone who adds your homebrew and everyone they are in the same campaign with. It's a very big "no no" due to the errors, unintended behaviour and confusion it causes. The box should only be used for main classes (i.e. Sorcerer) never subclasses (i.e. Aberrant Sorcery): the only time you add a subclass is if it is a homebrew subclass as this would add the spell as an auto-known or always-prepared spell: and quite frankly it is better to add those through a subclass feature instead anyway.

Nope. What I see is "Aberrant Sorcery".
