You have to create a “Variant” of the Human race and set it up like this:

 Then you have to set your racial trait up like this:

 Make sure that you’ve checked the “Is Variant” checkbox for the race, and make the trait a “Granted” trait NOT a “Replacement” trait.

This is also a big struggle for me, I've copied all advice in this thread and it's still not working- It's strange too, why is my wisdom, which I set as -1, set to +3? And I set 5 modifiers for everything except Charisma in the exact same way, and it's only showing two at a time which are both not what I put down, help??? Did the app update or something?
