We're having a bug with some of our characters that's resulting in missing feats and subclasses in a campaign that should have them (the rest of our characters have access to feats, subclasses, etc just fine). So right now, I'm trying to make a back up Wizard, but the only schools of magic available are the School of Evocation, and the School of Invention, it's like it isnt properly detecting content for specific characters in the same campaign.
We also have a Cleric who, for some reason, does not have access to Toll the Dead. Like, it's straight up not there, and cannot be added via the spell book.
Anyone seen this happen before? Any ideas?
Hi Reprepe,
To confirm: The Wizard and Cleric being affected are inside the campaign with sharing, and no one else inside the campaign cannot see the same items? (Wizard subclasses, Toll the Dead Spell?) Additionally, ensure that someone in the campaign with sharing has the relevant books you want to share. Toll the Dead, for example, is from Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
I would recommend whoever is providing content sharing turn the toggle off, then back on. Sometimes this helps to fix things. Let me know if the issue persists, and anymore details that may help me assist you.
Hey Jastreich! I'm not able to replicate the issue on the provided sheet, or with adding the monster to my own sheet. Is this a repeating error that you see often?
My suspicion is that may be an issue with one of the other pieces of homebrew from the sheet. If the issue persists I would recommend removing all homebrew, then re-adding them one by one to see which is the culprit.
Tortle monk ac. Wisdom modifier is not added to the ac. Natural armor is not like being equiped with an armor.
If you actually read the Monk description, the Wisdom modifier is never added to the AC. The unarmored defense says your AC equals to 10 + Dex mod + Wis mod.

As a follow up, can confirm that the bug was in fact the campaign secretly disabling content sharing.
A level 20 Ranger does not appear to be showing all Favored Enemies in the Class Features section. The Natural Explorer feature works fine, showing original selections and ones done at higher levels, but Favored Enemy only seems to be reflecting the 14th level selection
I am trying to undo some changes that I made to my character I would like to know if there is a version history that I could go through to undo it or do I need to go through and try to manually undo it. Then if there is a version history where do I find it.
Should a mark of shadows elf have longbow proficiency? I would think all elves do.
Take a look at Game Rules>Races>Elves. Weapon proficiencies for elves are subrace specific, and some subraces (Like Mark on Shadow Elves) don’t have them. The confusion is understandable, as Wood and High Elves get the same Elven Weapon Proficiency trait as part of the subrace.

Yeah, even PHB Drow don't get longbow or shortbow, only crossbows.

You can cast spells, spending up to scalevalue - No level scale data available ki points to increase the spell effect (includes base ki point cost for the spell).

When attempting to load the spells page for one of my characters I get an error message (Error code: 9d6c7be90d6348e5b355752753b27d93). This started about 2:30pm today and appears on both the mobile and desktop versions of the page. I cleared the cache on my browser and restarted. No change.

Inconceivable! (sorry, couldn't resist)
Do you have any homebrew spells added (either to the character, or, in case of a cleric/druid/paladin, in the collection available for the campaign)? Or anything else homebrew that can affect the spell list in any way (adding spells / modifying slots / spellcasting stats)?
Now that you mention it, I created and added a homebrew item based on a wand that allows for casting healing word. I added it to my character sheet just prior to the problem starting.
I just tried removing it and my spells are now available.
I have made one of the four classic blunders! What in the item could cause the error? It's called 'Amulet of Healing'.

Feel free to link the item in question. A moderator will be able to take a look.
My guess however is that if the item has a spell associated with it, that you may have (in the spell entry page on the item) set the minimum and maximum possible charges you can spend when using the item to a value too high to cast the spell within the level 1 to level 9 range.
Same thing happens when using the global search bar. A hit comes up, but clicking on it leads to a 404 error.

Hey there Delarn.
Technically you pick between Natural Armor or Unarmored Defense. D&D Beyond automatically gives you the greater of the two. Here's the sage advise on this ruling: https://www.sageadvice.eu/2017/09/20/how-does-tortle-natural-armor-and-unarmored-defence-work/

I kept getting it everytime I went to Extras on that sheet, but now it doesn't do that anymore. Odd.

We've solved the issue by toggling it on and off.

Monk Character sheet has a broken live value;
This should be fixed now.
