Specifically the Cantrip Friends, which I have found in other sources, seems to be MIA here. Is it just not a cantrip from the Basic Rules, or was it left out by accident? I would like to know how this spell functions, so I can see if it would work for my Arcane Trickster Rogue, but I can't find any info on it. Can you please address this? Thanks.
I thought this cantrip was available in one of those formats. I just can't find any information or a description of how it works in the spells section.
Friends isn't part of the D&D 5th edition SRD and D&D 5th edition Basic Rules so wont be in Beyond until after the Beta finishes. All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has not yet been announced.

For now, it is just the free stuff from SRD and Basic Rules.
All the official material will be implemented, the price is still to be announced.
