They don't seem to. They only see the racial stats for the subrace.

Thanks for all the steps and advice. I, too, followed them, but I had no luck in getting them as options. Until about 30 minutes later.  

I added a second race, and strangely, that one showed up first. I then cleared it out, refreshed and the one I wanted eventually showed up.

Be patient and refresh if you are still having trouble after following these steps.

 No.

Did you add subraces to the race?

On the “home” tab of the character builder, the toggle next to “Homebrew Content” needs to be on (red, to the right).

I set mine to have no subclasses ill try again

Please understand I mean no disrespect, but I have to ask…. After the first time, weren’t you prepared for it?

When I add an image for my race, its not showing up in the character creation. It just seems to be the default pictures verse what I am putting, but when I go to my creations iI see the picture, but it doesnt show up in character builder.  

I need help this hombrew is not showing up for me and I don't think its the sub race problem

I'm trying to add an existing Homebrew race to my character. I can't see any home races in my selection list.

Is homebrew activated for your character sheet?

Does the race have subraces?

They still haven't incorporated parent race and subrace organization. At this point I don't think it has any kind of priority. Very unfortunate for the homebrew community.

Since it appears that WotC is moving away from parent-sub/variant organization entirely, I would be shocked to discover it had even that much priority .
