I am running into a bigger problem. When trying to infuse a musket with Repeating Shot it will not let me. It has the ammunition property and I've gone so far as to add many items to my equipment to try and apply the repeating shot infusion to but almost none of them work. In fact, the only weapons it will let me apply it to are a handaxe and hand crossbow. This really feels like a bug to me. Please advise. Thanks.

You're correct but it still isn't working with Exandrian versions of the weapons. Our DM is letting us use those versions of firearms in our Ebberon campaign. That's still annoying. Thanks for the heads up though. Just have to add some notes to the customization menu. I wish we could change stuff like the range in that tab.
Exandrian firearms do not have the required property (ammunition) to be compatible with repeating shot. This is something Matt Mercer didn't include with his design of the weapons (none of them have the ammunition property) and the Repeating Shot infusion explicitly says "Item: A simple or martial weapon with the ammunition property (requires attunement)"
Maybe I'm missing something, but I cannot put 'Repeating Shot' on any "+#" varrients of weapons w/ ammunition or any magical variations of ranged weapons w/ ammunition. Is this a platform issue or am I missing a rule?
I've applied repeatable shot to a light crossbow and the Battle Ready feature is not working with it. I've tried with this a shortbow as well and see the same issue.

It should. It does when I test it even when not attuned. Post link to the character.

I am only able to apply Repeating Shot to a Hand Crossbow, and it doesn't apply the Battle Ready feature either.
Hello! The team is aware of a recent issue with some misbehaving Artificer infusions. Thank you for your report!
Seems to be working now (for me).

Infusions can't be applied to magic items, only mundane ones.
