I understand that D&D is a whiteboi cottage industry from the 70’s. You need to understand that the vast majority of players are no longer cisgendered white males, and we have different experiences with names and nicknames. 

and do t bother replying with endless appeals to the rules of the game, unintentional harm, bureaucrat double talk, or benign disinterest that we are perfectly accustomed to. I promise you neither I nor any other tras, queer, or bipoc person who goes through these processes on the daily gives zero ****s about your company, business model, interest in “fair gameplay”. We want the processes and rules of d&d to reflect us, our lives, and our stories without corporate intervention. Don’t apologize, don’t handwring. FIX. THE. ISSUE.

First off - I have updated your name for you, as you requested.

I'm a trans woman myself and fully understand the difficulties imposed by many businesses and legislation, around changing names on websites. It sucks and can be so emotionally draining to hear the same excuses over and over again.

I can assure you though that D&D Beyond, it's staff, and it's processes are not transphobic.
