Dude, you are dying on a mole hill. The lore is not something that needs to be accessed as readily as mechanics. It just isn't. If you are creating characters, pull it up on a separate tab or device. If you need to reference it later on, pull it up. I would much rather the devs focus on new mechanics (Mark Spells, Boons, Supernatural Gifts, Piety, etc) than on Lore. Stop trying to make this a bigger issue.
Will we ever get a chance to create homebrew gods along with a piety system for them? I'm currently making a piety system for the gods in my homebrew world and I was wondering if I would be able to add it directly into their sheet like a normal god?

I mean, you can already just... type in the names of gods under Faith. There isn't a drop down or anything. I could put in Fred into the Faith field. and the piety system rewards stuff directly to the characters (albeit needing to be modeled probably via homebrew feats), there's really nothing you need to add directly to the sheet?

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
I must have added Theros to my cart, and never actually completed the transaction. (Would have thought I had, but shrug). Anyway, apparently I can see the sourcebook under my Sources, but I can't use the character subclasses. Inability to use subclasses makes sense, as I haven't bought the book. Why can I access the sourcebook though?

Two possibilities come to mind:
You are in a campaign with someone who bought it and content sharing is enabled. You will be able to read it, but will only be able to use the feature in that specific campaign.
You accidentally purchased the “compendium only” version instead of the “full version.” Compendium only is just the book, full version is the character builder options too. If you did accidentally purchase the compendium only, you will only have to pay the difference to get the rest of it.
Good ideas. I've just discredited each of them. Every campaign I am involved in either does not have Content Sharing, or I am the one sharing the content. Also, my list of product licenses does not include MOoT.

Are you sure that none of the players in the campaigns with content sharing bought the book? That’s all it takes.
It doesn’t matter who bought the content, who is the DM, or who has the subscription. Once content sharing has been enabled everything gets shared regardless of who owns what.

Just to clarify, are you able to actively view compendium content? Are you able to see this page: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/moot/character-creation? The ToC will show up anyone that clicks any of the sourcebooks, but the content itself will redirect you to the marketplace.
I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I can't see the Dungeon Master version of the Coastal Temple map in the mobile app. The map names in the website version Table of Contents also have several typos. I noticed 'Asora' instead of 'Agora' and 'Cour of Orestes' instead of 'Court of Orestes.'
Yes, I can view the content in the book, which is why A.) I was surprised I didn't have access to the character creation tools, and B.) I am reporting this as a bug now.

Just because you devalue something, doesn't make it a "molehill", mate. You're literally telling me to shut up so your favourite features can get more attention. That is ghastly.
The point is that this would be trivially easy for the devs to do. They've basically admitted that, and they've even essentially done it already (Orc of Exandria and Orc of Eberron). It would literally take minutes of actual work.
Whereas what you're asking for is stuff that will take massive and sustained effort. I'm suggesting maybe fix what you can right now, rather than leaving it broken for months, or forever.

I was able to verify with a staff member that this content is being shared with you via content sharing (so someone in a campaign with you). I'd recommend re-verifying to see if anyone purchased the compendium content and is now subsequently sharing it.
Follow-up to earlier point re: the Centaur, Minotaur, and Triton displaying incorrect lore, because they're the Ravnica and Volos versions respectively (with identical mechanics, so the mechanics are no issue). We've been told this is a feature, not a bug, even though Orc of Exandria and Orc of Eberron have identical mechanics but are separate entries. So presumably this means that if someone goes into Theros, and tries to individually buy the Centaur, say, hoping to get the Theros version of the Centaur, they'll actually get the Ravnica version? Or can you only buy Satyr and Leonin individually from Theros?
I can't test this myself as I have Theros. Perhaps someone who doesn't could check?
I opened up in another browser and yes, only the Leonin and Satyr races are specific to Theros so those are the only ones you can buy.
TBH I think this is probably fine. The two Orcs are clearly separated because the mechanics are different with Volo's having an intelligence drop. But pretty much every other race is in Wildemount and isn't separated: the reason being that mechanically they are the same, it's just the flavour background that's different.
And this makes sense because the flavour is tied to the campaign guide and really makes no sense if you don't own the guide already. The downside of digital vs physical is that you can't just share the book around your players.
I don't see this as an issue at all.
That's a pity for you, but it is an issue. Calling it the "downside of digital" is utterly ridiculous and demonstrates that you don't understand how Beyond works. You literally can share the book. They have access to it. The issue is that if they select those Theros races, they get the Ravnica descriptions. That is a serious problem, and would be very easy to fix. But yet again the Beyond team, instead of choosing to fix something in an easy way, have chosen to leave it broken.
Re: Orcs you haven't been following the conversation. I'm not talking about Volo's Orcs, I'm talking about Orcs of Exandria and Orcs of Eberron, which do indeed have the same exact mechanics, except apparently one can choose the Nature proficiency as one of their option and the other can't.
The other Exandria races are all standard/PHB races, so they're only up against vague/generic lore, rather than ultra-specific Ravnica lore.
You can't share the book unless you have the Master tier thingie. If you just buy the book on its own you can't share it around except by giving them your tablet/phone/computer. I hope my meaning is now clear.
If you've shared the book with your players via Master-Tier then they have access to the Lore so it's not a big deal.
I keep getting an API error when I try to c/p the Piety info from MOoT into the description section of a custom skill. I'm doing it as shown in the screencap in the OP. I think it has to do with the length of the text?
"Pharika is a kind of snake goddess" entered without errors.
Just looking for clarification: If I purchase Theros but don't have Ravinica, will I have access to Minotaurs and Centaurs as races in character builder?

If you figure out which campaign it is, you will be able to use that content in that campaign as if you own it. But only in that campaign.
This is aggravatingly patronizing. I know. I'm the friend who owns most of the books and shares the content with other players and is reminding them they have to have a character in the campaign to use it. What I was told was that content was being shared with me, despite every one of my campaigns saying "Content Sharing enabled by Cecilao" but I didn't question if more than one person at a time could share content.
