Star Druid's use of Guiding Bolt using the star map does not scale with the character's proficiency bonus, but instead only has one use no matter what.
Star Druid's use of Guiding Bolt using the star map does not scale with the character's proficiency bonus, but instead only has one use no matter what.
Do you have a character demonstrating this? I have a Star Druid, Stars on the Ocean, which seems to have the number of uses that I expect (three), and increases to four at 9th-level as expected. Are you sure you're looking at the correct instance of guiding bolt on the sheet? Stars Druids should see two, one that includes their proficiency free uses, and the other that is for casting normally.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
For the Artillerist Artificer, the Force Ballista mode of their Eldritch Cannon feature adds the artificer's intelligence modifier to the damage, but it should only deal 2d8 force damage (or 3d8 at level 9 and higher). This bug likely wasn't caught because you need to display it as an attack, which it isn't by default.
I'm sure its been brought up before, but there still isn't a system for Armorer Artificer's Armor Modification feature allowing for multiple infusions on a single suit of armor. Overriding the infusion cap doesn't really help since you cant apply more than one infusion to an item typically, so even if you do override and infusion multiple armor sets to have access, you cant use them all at once.
Now that it’s 2024, I think it’s safe to presume that D&D Beyond will never fully support Tasha’s Cauldron.
Considering that the next edition of the game will be rolling out later this year, I'm willing to bet that whatever changes that folks are waiting to see happen will probably be wrapped up in the new rules that is supposed to be "100% backward compatible" (extreme sarcasm). So what about those other things?
For the rest of the previously promised but not yet delivered on features of Tasha's Cauldron...yeah, like you said, will not likely be supported in DDB.
Frustrated that I cannot find the "Spirit" creatures list in this tome in my character sheet "extras". Trying to add the Shadow Spirit as a extra, for when my Warlock Summons Shadowspawn. And yes, I have purchased the book in DDB and selected the source options in the character sheet home page.
Several of the new features and spells present Monster Statblocks which scale with your character. This includes spells that summon other creatures. The system to handle these creatures is still under development but we have included inline stat blocks wherever possible to help you reference the stats you need.
in other words, you won’t find them in Extras, but in the spell descriptions. Unfortunately the never got around to finishing the system they mention in this quote.

You can blame the management of Hasbro forcing WotC and Beyond's remaining IT staff that aren't laid off in favor of AI into working under the Roll20/AboveVTT/Foundry/Talespire/etc "killer"/rugpull VTT's ex-exploitative mobile microtransaction factory "game" middle management hires, for broken promises and wonky releases.
The ex-Zynga(from the Farmville but MTX era) people have ALL the power over IT now. And they're going to rugpull support from all VTTs but the one that makes MTX buxx for Chris "AI Bro" Cocks and his shareholder overlords.
ALL the problems come from Chris Cooks and the shareholders wanting to prevent Hasbro from dying at their hands by their own incompetence, like most American businesses post-Reagan.
That's why Beyond went down the toidy upon being bought.
The issues won't be fixed even after the new core 3 books, because they want you to spend on MTX from the fully-realized mobile game masquerading as a VTT to possibly EARN that.
So I'd never expect ANYTHING to be fully implemented or fixed ever again.
Don't yell at Beyond moderators, tho. They aren't the problem.

Just one more entry in the very long and ever growing list of things they said they were gonna do around here and unfortunately never got around to finishing. 😒
I purchased the digital download and I STILL have yet to receive it in my owned… I try to redownload it and it says I already purchased it and I have the purchase in my email saying I purchased it yesterday 3/22/24…. STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED IT.. I put a ticket in and still no response or nothing resolved…. I either need my 32 bucks back after purchasing or this needs to be fixed.. makes me not want to even play with the app anymore… this book shows NO WHERE on my iPad but does on my phone under downloaded but refuses to let me redownload it and have it…
try syncing your entitlements (see link in my signature). Also make sure that you are signed into the same accounts on all your devices. it's easier than you would believe to accidentally have multiple accounts.
I did all of that. It was synced and now it isn’t and won’t allow me to sync, like it’s glitched or something. I am signed in under the same accounts, I see all of my purchases and none are there in my owned or DL except for a few. The PHB and Tasha’s cauldron will not download. I have the others I purchased though. It’s just very frustrating
I'm still seeing the feat as normal; could have been a temporary problem, but if it's still missing for you you might want to file a support ticket as it could be an issue specific to your account.
If you want something faster to try though, I'd make sure you disable all ad-blockers plus any extensions you don't need for the site; D&D Beyond is super sensitive to anything that modifies the page in any way. Why that would affect only the poisoner feat I have no idea, but I've seen weirder interactions.

Sorry, my mistake. I saw lots of other bumps and followed the trend.

I see genie warlock still cant use Wish as their level 9 mystic arcanum

Ah, it was the 1 use part. I didn't see the parentheses next to it.

4 years and this bug still not fixed :(
Poisoner feat seems to be gone?
I had it set for a character i'm using but upon trying to remake the character, it's no-longer in the list of feats that I can choose.
And yes, I own Tasha's cauldron.
Edit: I have telepathic, Telekinetic, Piercer, Skill Expert, ect.
All (some of?) the other feats added by the same sourcebook.
But Poisoner is gone?
I'm still seeing the feat as normal; could have been a temporary problem, but if it's still missing for you you might want to file a support ticket as it could be an issue specific to your account.

Check the character sheet directly and make sure it doesn't already have the feat.
