I am unable to download the Player's Handbook, though it does appear in "My Content."
I tried to download it first. No error message appeared, but the download did not initiate. Then I successfully downloaded Basic Rules, EE Player's Companion, and CoS Character Options. Further attempts to download the Player's Handbook continue to fail - no error message. Notably, pressing directly on the cloud/down-arrow icon does nothing at all. Pressing on the image of the Player's Handbook brings up the "Install Source" dialogue, but subsequently pressing "DOWNLOAD" does not initiate the transfer as it did with the other sources. There does appear to be some brief back-and-forth with the server (per indications on the wi-fi icon.)
Hello Sulrana, I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with the mobile app.
It appears that the free content is downloading properly, which is a good sign. Please ensure that you're logged onto the account on which you made your purchases on the mobile application. You can check this by going to the sidebar menu and checking if the username there matches your D&D Beyond username. Additionally, verify that you completed your purchase on your order history page.
Once you have verified if that is correct, try clicking on your user icon that shows on that page in the app. It should reveal a new menu option called 'Customer Support'. Go into that menu and select 'Download Local Manifest'. Accept the download, and restart your app once the download has completed. Once your app reopens, try to download your purchased title(s) again.
Thank you for your reply, MellieDM. I supposed you meant "Download Latest Manifest" rather than "Restore Local Manifest," so I pressed the former. After the update and restart, I was able to successfully download the Player's Handbook.
I now am left with two crucial issues. First, the a-la-carte purchase I made of the Grave Domain (from Xanthar's) does not appear in My Content. Second, I cannot find any way to open and use the characters I created in the web version of D&D Beyond. There really doesn't seem to be any point in having an app if I cannot use it to manage my character. From a player's perspective, that seems to me to be the absolute most import thing an app can do for me. I feel I may have wasted some money here.
