One of my players has mentioned they are now unable to view their character on the mobile app. They can only view their purchased content, which is nothing as they created the character through the content shared as part of my campaign.
Is this still the case? I'm trying to understand how it all fits together still but it seems weird that you still wouldn't be able to access your character in a product this widely used.

Whoever you are, whether you are walking towards Him or away, you are loved. And I will do my best to live out His love.
It is weird. An app that critical role has been touting, that you (the player) can use to view content, play the game and use your character through the app... and it still isn't true (via mobile phone). How do you access your characters if you don't have the budget to purchase a laptop just to play the game using an app? Pen and paper? With that, Doesn't this go against the purpose of what a Mobile application in for? This question was asked in another thread 6 months ago and there seems to be no progress. I wish the dev's would have had this on the "front burner" when designing an app for mobile devices.

My phone and tablet have a web browser app, so I play every week using those to manage my character. Not available offline, true, but fortunately for me, that isn't an issue where we play. I'm sure it can be for some people. Characters will come to the DDB app eventually, but for now that's the workaround.

Err... you use the web browser that comes on every mobile phone? What is the problem here?
I can view my characters on my phone but not my tablet it's as if they are 2 entirely different apps.. what's going on
The official D&D Beyond mobile app doesn't have support yet for displaying character sheets.
As others have mentioned above, for now, the answer is to use the browser on your device to access this website - the site and character sheet are designed so they will display well on mobile devices.
The iOS browser is amazing for browsing the character sheets. Hoping the in-app functionality mirrors it closely.
Resolving offline syncing is definitely going to be a challenge. Something that most take for granted. Best of luck, and can't wait for the eventual rollout. In the meantime though, provided you have internet access, the browser's 👌.
It isn't that I can use the "Web Browser", the question is "why can't I view my character sheet in the 'app'?" that D&D Beyond built an app for us to use Specifically for their content, and we can't use it to play our character??? Am I missing the reason why we have apps on our phone in the first place? Yes, you can circumvent the app, but then, why have the app in the first place? Just for DM's?

Nope, not quite. If you buy the books on the website (in app purchases aren't a thing at the moment) you'll be able to use the in character creation on the site (there's no character creator in the app)
So if we purchase a book on the app can we use the accessories in charecter creation ?
Yes, any purchases made via the app are also valid on the D&D Beyond website (and vice versa) - please make sure you are signed into both with the same account though prior to purchasing!
We don't have a character sheet in the app yet, but all purchases are for your account.

Hi there drownedsummer,
the mobile app is still in development and doesn't have character sheet functionality (this hasn't changed).
Your players can access their character sheets on their mobile devices by using their mobile browser and heading to www.dndbeyond.com.

Thanks. I don't actually use D&D Beyond on my phone as referring to my Smart Phone as a Smart Phone would be generous.

It's on the roadmap, they're still trying to resolve an effective way to manage character syncing when going offline

The character sheet is accessible on phone and tablet via mobile browser, with app support coming down the line.
You don't need a laptop to manage your character.

Because they're still working on that part of the app?
The app is currently rules and adventure compendium content, it's an ereader for the books you've bought. Character sheet viewer is coming soon.

Has in-app purchasing been added? Or are you talking about the webapp?
