I feel like Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro just cannot help themselves. Everytime the start to build goodwill with the community they go out of their way to start a dumpster fire through chasing vulture captialist, enshittification strategies to please a small group of rich investors that already have more money than they could ever spend.
I have just simply reached the point of realizing; they need me a whole lot more than I need them. I can just go outside and throw a frisbee, play cards, find live music (or start playing again), hike, or a thousand other things than buy their game system. Human history is full of people inventing things to do when bored, and I am sure our society can figure it out again. I am sure we will survive without Hasbro or WoTC selling us the 120th version of Monopoly, Uno, and DND. Heck, the version of Monopoly I own came from a thrift store because there are already 275 million copies already floating around.
On the other hand, they will lose their crap if their precious profit margin fails to show continuous growth or their stocks don't pay a dividend. Short of them attempting to legislate us paying for their product, there isn't much they can do if we collectively just walk away.

Exactly what i am doing. I have all the print editions since 2nd I don't need Hasbro's new enshitification of a game. I already canceled my yearly and have downloaded my pdf's once the time runs out I will delete my account and not look back. This and the whole fiasco with the OGL screw hasbro.
Worst Idea Ever. They will lose me over this. I won't be running D&D for my campaigns if this is the case.

This is class action lawsuit territory. Anyone know any litigation attorneys who play DnD?
