Attempted to check out with some of the free items on the marketplace. 5 to be specific. I got as far as the "shipping" tab, which refused to let me go further; because it kept bringing up a notification about holiday shipping: "place orders by the 19th to ensure they arrive by the 25th!"... on a checkout for digital goods that are unlocked instantly? Okay... Every time I tried to go to payment, it brought up the same notification and refused to allow me to go further. I then went back to my cart and tried again... only to find now it won't allow me to check out at all; the check out option on the cart page is greyed out entirely. Refreshing the page has no effect, leaving the store and returning has no effect.
This whole "new and improved marketplace" seems to have fallen at the first hurdle here.
UPDATE: Checking on others' experience... apparently it is because I'm in Canada!? Because "holiday deliveries only within the contiguous United States"!? It's a DIGITAL good!
UPDATE 2: Removed all items from cart, re-added one, checkout option returend. Proceeding through to the shipping tab; double-checking address, the site has failed to save my province, update information, re-enter payment information, checkout worked. Repeat with a second item: site has continued to fail to remember the province information, repeat process.
UPDATE 3: Got it to work a second time: it seems that the site doesn't properly store addresses (why they are needed for "shipping" a digital good is beyond me); when reaching the shipping tab, you'll have to open the "update address" option and fill in the missing field(s); for Canadians that's Province apparently... Then also re-enter payment details... For a free item... Yeah; this was not implemented well. Also: double-check if you already own items; that will require going to their marketplace pages directly. That might also be confusing the site if tryign to check out with a "mixed data set" so to speak.
I’m confused on why they need my shipping address or my debit card information or something that’s supposed to be free I wish there was just a download button

Well: so much for that.

Thanks for this! I was *this* close to giving up!
Bro... I haven't bought anything from dndbeyond specifically because this keeps happening. I feel so dumb about it. I've lost out on so many sales.
