Put a "Only 2014 Version" button at the top of the site so we can revert back to how it was prior to the 2024 release. We're mid-campaign and the inability to filter out all the new junk is infuriating!!
Throwing my voice in with the chorus requesting a 2014/2024 rules toggle. I've played in a six year campaign using the 2014 rulebook, we aren't finished. I've spent a lot of money on subscription fees and repurchasing digital versions of books I already owned, that's fine, it was convenient. This site no longer feels convenient, my less technical minded players and newer players have found the recent changes confusing and unclear. I completely understand wanting your new ruleset to be front and centre and to generate excitement, that's fine, but don't make it more difficult for me to use the products I've paid for. Add a toggle, it's that simple, I refuse to believe in 2024 this is a technical decision and not a business one, it's also the fastest way to get people to disengage from your platform. I really was curious about the new rules, this makes me much less interested in purchasing anything to do with them.
- Add an option to choose between 2014 and 2024 rules.
- I would like an option that allows me to use DnD Beyond only with the content I paid for, without showing anything else that could makes me or my players confused and adds friction to our games.
- It would be awesome if we had the opportunity to restrict characters options in our campaigns. Something like the ability to uncheck any content (species, classes, subclasses, spells, feats...) from each book activated for the campaign.
I would very much appreciate it if the Character creator would remember my preferences when I create a new character. For example: I would like for Homebrew to be defaulted to Off as well as the Partnered Content. I will NEVER use the Rick and Morty content and having to click it Off every character is a PITA.

Funny, I thought there was a way to do that, like I remember setting it up, but I can not find it now. I wonder if that was a subscription feature that I lost when I unsubscribed due to the loss of a la carte purchases. Or maybe it never really existed.
1.Custom eldritch invocations and fighting styles.
2.Homebrew Classes. Honestly, why couldn't DnDBeyond just take the code from the homebrew subclasses and remove the restrictions? Ctrl C, V, then X for all the restrictions. I would assume it's not that hard but who knows I'm no coder.
3.Homebrew Mundane items.

When creating homebrew backgrounds, feats, etc every item is duplicated with no indication of which PHB version each one is from. For example, try to create a homebrew background and add a musical instrument proficiency. There's two of each instrument, with no legacy tag. It might not be a big problem for instruments, but it is for spells and other features or items
I haven't purchased the 2024 Player's Handbook on DDB, but I'm still getting the free "Core Rules" in a privileged position at the top of every screen, and the 2014 legacy options I want to use shoved all the way down to the bottom, even below supplementary content from other sourcebooks. I'd like to request a drop-down with the options "Prefer 2024" (current order), "Prefer 2014" (place 2014 core legacy options at top, followed by sourcebooks, followed by 2024 core) and "2014 Only" (2014 core legacy options at top, followed by sourcebooks, no 2024 core). I don't plan to use the 2024 character creation rules, and trying to create a character using 2014 rules is an incredibly cumbersome process at the moment.
I'd just like to add to this that I'd prefer if this drop-down were on individual tabs in the character editor and not just on the home page. For instance, I might want to run a game that uses exclusively 2014 character options but uses the 2024 versions of spells rather than the 2014 versions. In this case, I'd want the 2014 legacy character options on the top of the class features, background and species tabs and the 2024 options either excluded or at the bottom, but on the spells tab, I'd want to be able to show 2024 spells and hide 2014 legacy spells.
I’m not interested in dnd 2024 at all. Could you guys create a feature where I don’t see any of this new trash? I just want my 5e stuff that I’ve paid for and not have to sort through all of this garbage.
You are now claiming that Maps is "everything you need in a VTT" except you have no tokens for furniture/items/spell effects and you don't let me upload any.
The character sheet in DND Beyond needs a toggle button where we can indicate whether a character is concentrating or not. Probably under Conditions would work best. I find that concentration is one thing that players (and DMs) frequently forget, so a visible reminder on the character sheet would be awesome!
Just thought of another way to get all our money from us. Make 2e and 3e versions of dnd beyond. Toggle between all the rulesets. I know people that would drop money on that.

Absolutely agree with this. Though I don't know how much work it would be. I know a lot of people who would love to see 2e, 3e, and 4e on DNDBeyond. WOTC could just repackage and sell old content with minimal fuss.

Feature Request/Suggestion:
Playing a game in 2014 rules, running a game in 2024 rules. I would love to toggle between them by character.
Added benefit is that you have a realistic view of who is using what content and how they're using it. Data is money, after all.

While 3rd-party companies are nice to know, it'd be better to have a roadmap in relation to what precisely we're getting from them
-Comprehensive Partnered Content Roadmap showing exactly what is coming from which Partners

REQUEST: More search fields for homebrew collection. E.g. (for spells) by spell school, by spell level...
I've got hundreds of homebrew items. The current search fields are too limited.
