If I preorder physical and digital bundle for Europe will I get the early access on D&D Beyond?
According to the article about it:
"D&D Beyond users with a Master Tier subscription will get early access to each book weeks before they hit stores. The 2024 Player's Handbook, for example, becomes available to them on September 3. Hero Tier subscribers get early access on September 10. Your digital copy will unlock player options, monsters, and more in D&D Beyond’s suite of tools, including the Character Builder, Encounter Builder, virtual tabletop Maps, and more."
So if you've got a digital copy pre-ordered and a subscription, you'll get early access on the appropriate dates.
So, like. What is the incentive for EU players toPre-Order the books? The US players get a nice bundle of all three books (diigital+physical) with a 60$ discount. But in the EU store you need to buy the three books separately (digital+physical x3), without any discount or anything considering the pre-order status. So, EU is a scecond category of players for DnD Beyond, as I understand it? (it was the same last year, or was it earlier this year?, when the US copies had I think 40% discount, and EU had only 20% discount, and the prices of the books were much higher than in the US as well, of course...)

Not an expert here - I can only imagine it has something to do with the pricing involved with physical shipping makes things messy outside of the US as every country will be different. Not saying it's fair or anything but it's just one of the advantages of living in the US (shrug).

If an American orders the Core Bundle - he pays $90 extra to get the physical books compared to just getting the content on Dndbeyond. If a European orders the same bundle, he pays $119 extra. It makes the solution simple to me: I will not buy the physical books, they must be insane. $29 difference in shipping costs - HA!

This seems to not have worked out this way. Between books being available at Conventions and being able to get the alternate covers and standard covers in some ways already even before the update went active on DNDBeyond. While those that preordered the Physical and Digital bundles, sit and wait for theirs to arrive sometime around or after 9/17. Seems like if the Players Handbook was going to be available at these various events, the Preorders should have had theirs in hand around that same time.
The digital books are a rip off. There are so few new changes that it could have just been an update. I knew the artificer was going to be left out but now that I see truly how little was added it seems lazy to not have added them. Instead I bet they will be saved for a later book that we have to purchase to get content we already have just slightly tweaked.
Has there been anything new on people buying the physical books and getting access to the data online? Or do we need to buy and physical and digital ones?

Short answer is no. The only thing that's really changed is that you can now buy bundles that contain the Digital and Physical copies of certain 2024 Rulebooks directly through the D&D Beyond Marketplace.

Which I would NOT recommend. Buy the digital if you like on D&D Beyond, but do NOT buy the physical copy here; buy from a gaming store. I purchased a bundle and when my Players Handbook arrived, it was torn up and damaged pretty good. I sent notice to them that I didn't want a refund but only was interested in an exchange. I've been ignored ever since and now will be forced to purchase another, undamaged, copy from a local retailer as I'll never hear from them.
why does the FAQ look like its giving hope to people that they will eventually be able to convert hardcover to digital unlocks? Its like hey we want you to double dip but if people dont then maybe we will make the change

Also, local retailers are good for local business :)
