I created a new character through the App, and when I went to manage my spell list, tons of spells were missing that should have been there.
Example: Created a Sorcerer, and Prestidigitation wasn't present on the spell list to select. I checked on the website, added it there, then it replicated the change to the app. Same for Firebolt. I didn't get beyond Cantrips because of the issue.
so I created a quick Sorcerer with random selections. Prestidigitation and Fire Bolt were available both within the character creation process and in the Manage Spells section of the completed character sheet. I added them from Manage Spells and even rolled the Hit and damage dice from the character sheet.
Sorry, I was hoping to reproduce the issue, but it's working ok for me.
Both on the website and the app the ability to filter spells based on class and subclass is totally nerfed. Try and filter spells for Arcane Trickster, for example. I'm not wasting my time looking for other problems, but it seems like a lot of arcane classes are missing or missing spells.

I wondered if this was related to the issue I've just posted
