I know that "Running An Encounter" is on the EB roadmap already, but I just thought of a feature that I think would be extremely helpful that I haven't seen mentioned yet.
In Badeye's READ THIS FIRST post, he mentions "Monster HP/Status Tracking". I think it would be great if we could also track Monster/NPC spell slot usage as well. Also limited use abilities if possible. Even if they're just little checkbox buttons, a way to easily see at a glance what has and hasn't been used would be a major QOL improvement in my opinion.
Yup! That's in the pipeline as well for running the encounter - the end goal is to be able to control and manage everything about a monster that's possible!
That's part of the plan! Bear in mind that an encounter runner is very much a "later on down the line" sort of deal.
With the initiative tracking, are there plans to add things like lair actions or the steps of the complex traps from Xanathar's? These would be helpful as if I were going to remember everything but one item in my initiatives, it is always lair actions!

Yep! Traps, lair actions, and other terrain challenges are planned to be included in the "Run an Encounter" tool.
Any Update on when any updates to this will be made?
Nope - we don't provide updates or timelines. Often things will change and shift in development. All I can say is that it's currently being planned and worked on. Beyond that, if you'd like more information or updates, I'd recommend following our Twitter/Facebook or tuning in every Thursday at 9AM PST for the weekly update with Adam Bradford, the General Manager of D&D Beyond!
I use the builder to get my encounters together, but prefer to have them on paper when actually running the encounter. It would be great if there was like a "Print Encounter" or "Print Enemies/Party" and it would print the stat blocks on paper. I currently go to each monsters stat block in here and print it but that burns up a lot of paper.
If I have time I transfer the stat blocks to Word and modify it a little but that takes some time.
I would also think a "Random" option would be pretty cool. Like you pick a few filters (a yeti wouldn't be in a desert environment for example) and you set the party and how challenging you want it to be. Click random and it throws out a few monsters. Just changes it up and introduces lesser known monsters.

A print option would be pretty cool, especially if it could produce maybe a condensed version of the stat block. Like maybe shortened verbiage on some of the attacks and the sort.
I think random encounters are on the plan for the encounter builder already. Also, have you never heard of a Seti? A Sand Yeti?!
Exactly! Just a quick and dirty sheet with the monsters in the encounter with a simple stat block. Then I can write notes. HP. Conditions on the paper. I just built all the encounters coming up in the module and having a cheat sheet would be cool. Planning on doing it today after some errands but it’ll take a bit.
Would tracking if a PC/Monster has used their reaction for the current round of combat be in the encounter running tool as well?
The intent is that it would be included. However, it may not be included in the first iteration. I'm sure we'll be able to provide additional information as we get closer to launching the beta/running encounter tool.

Maybe even an initiative tracker on top of that?
