Still hoping there'll be one. Their lack of advertising isn't very reassuring about the longevity of the platform, but crossing my fingers that there is one and dndbeyond sticks around for more than a year.
There seems to be little reason to suspect it won't be around for a while. In fact hints seem to show dndbeyond is expanding and doing well. Most of their ads seem to be among the twitch channels running games and interviewing people on their own twitch channel
I’m a little confused by the Legendary pricing. I have purchased all the books individually. I just looked at the Marketplace and I am seeing the price as $138.07. What is included in the bundle that I don’t already own, other than a 15% discount on future product? It seems like there is a bug in the pricing system.

Check against the list of books available on DDB: here or here.
For that price, it seems you are missing 4 or 5 books.
Did you buy those books at a discount? Might be why if you do have everything unlocked, as all the Legendary does is remove what you have already paid. If you paid less than the Legendary's own discount, that would do it.
All content unlocked. 22 items, but Yawning Portal counts for 7, so 28 total = the content of Legendary. I would be paying $138.07 for nothing! It looks like I’ll be buying individual books in the future.
I would, unless you let the unpurchased content develop enough to make the Legendary worth it, but that would take quite a few releases.
It basically means that you've been buying books on DDB at an even greater discount than what Legendary itself provides. That $138 difference is how much you've saved over the Legendary bundle.

Buying per book with 25% discount is better than buying the bundle with 15%. Starting this way it is better to keep it that way. But I'am wondering how the difference between everything per book at 75% and bundle at 85% (correct?) can be $138. Maybe you have some content unlocked via sharing?
I bought the bundle with a special bundle discount of 25% and since then am buying new books with 15% bundle discount and 25% for a net 36,25% discount.
I'm considering purchasing a book on DDB but I haven't been able to find an FAQ that can tell me whether I can download a pdf to view offline or print a hard copy. Can anyone tell me if either of these options are possible or am I stuck only being able to read from an Internet connect device?

There are no pdf's, but if you use the DnDBeyond App on a tablet or phone you are able to download them for "offline" use.

Hi there,
other than the content found on DMs Guild, there are no legal PDFs of the D&D 5th edition product.
D&D Beyond provides digital versions of the sourcebooks:
Thanks for the responses. Understood no PDF version. Am I able to at least print a nice copy from the website?
I generally photocopy out the sections that I'll be using in the forthcoming session as I like to highlight bits, make notes in the margins, cross off treasure the party didn't find, note down impromptu NPC names that I assigned etc.

You can print any section of a Compendium source and the result is quite neat. However, it does not look like the hardcover, more like a doc version of it.
You’re right. I thought that link used to work. Given how bad the forum search is here, I doubt I’ll be able to find it again. I’ll edit the first post.
New to DDB & have trawled through several forum threads for clarity, but am not finding an answer to my question. Any clarity or confirmation would be appreciated!
I have purchased PHB, VGM & XgtE. What I am trying to understand is: If I purchase the Legendary Bundle, does the cost of these three items come off the total of the bundle?
I am sure it's been asked before but I have been searching these forums for a while now & cannot find a clear answer to this one.
I have played around with the market place & when I go to 'make purchase' there seems to be no indication that the cost of my existing purchases is going to be discounted.
I know I could wait for discount codes to drop for the cheaper pricing etc, but I'd be OK with the Bundle & it's ongoing 15% too (admittedly there is already content I have no interest in owning, but...), as long as I am certain that I'm not "double buying" what I've already got.
Many thanks in advance for your help & experience.
Yes, the money you spend on individual books does drop the price of the Legendary bundle. Similarly, the money you spend on parts of books also drops the price of the full book and the Legendary Bundle.
I did this myself, by buying player options for the character builder to eventually buying the compendiums to buying a legendary bundle.

There's also advertising and staff presence at conventions, where you'll find D&D players. :)

Might just be me, but the link to the VTT is broken and just opens the 1st page over again.
