Start with Against the Giants (Originally 3 modules packaged Together)
Led to Descent into the Depths of the Earth and Vault of the Drow.
Then Queen of the Demonweb Pits.
These modules were huge at the time. First introduction of both Lloth and the Drow. Absolutely foundational to much of D&D Mythology and lore. It was also actually the first of the Abyssal layers detailed in a module. The Queen of the Demonweb Pits also include 3 separate Demi-Planes that the PC's could explore and become part of. Some of the best work in 1st Ed.
One caveat Lloth is pretty weak for a Lesser God. My GM boosted her stats considerably. As printed she really wasn't much of a challenge on her own.
A Night Below is one that I remember well, and frequently go back and reread. A great underdark dungeon crawl with a variety of foes and conflicting plots.

Ghost Tower of Inverness - if you want to kill somebody.
