Hello normies, I was a tabaxi monk rouge. Mobile trait. Double speed boots. Double speed sword. In the end of the game I had 3000 speed. I also had a gaurentee to dodge all attacks
Aasimar Protector Priest, Arcana domain. Flat damage bonus each time you deal damage to the target scales insanely high when you use it with magic missiles that deal damage multiple times per each cast. If you load it with as many wands of magic missiles as money could buy it can melt things so beyond it's CR it's ridiculous.
One thing I noticed is the Bladesinger wizard's new Extra Attack, allowing a cantrip to be cast in place of one of the attacks. Pair that with Eldritch Knight fighter's War Magic and Action Surge to push its output without any spell slots. I hesitate to throw in fighter's 11th level Extra Attack due to multiple classes' Extra Attacks not stacking, though that'd be cool in and of itself!

Not sure what sane DM would allow you to add the damage bonus to each missile. Even the text itself (assuming radiant soul) says, " once on each of your turns".
"Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra...damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra...damage equals your level."
Yeah, that wording says the damage applies to the target instead of to the damage roll. That makes it much less abusable. Still, adding character level to damage is fairly strong if the fight is expected to drag on for a while (a string of encounters can possibly count).
How I run my characters is that they get a feat at Lv.1 and Lv.5. One character I run is a Variant Human Paladin that wields a scythe (2d4 slashing + Strength mod, heavy two-handed). She started off the with the Sentinel feat (race bonus) and Slasher (Lv.1) and gains the Great Weapon Master feat at Lv.5. She has the Great Weapon Fighting style so she can reroll damage dice. She's is also a Paladin of the Oath of Vengeance subclass, so more power to her, allowing her to gain advantage on attack rolls and able to heal and support herself and her allies. Give this a whirl and tell me what you think of this? You can replace the scythe with another heavy slashing weapon and it still works.
Last thing she needs is a magic weapon that does slashing damage. (I don't know, maybe a Scythe of Slashing? Same as the Sword of Slashing, but a scythe)
i want to build a human that basically can lie through his teeth with out people batting an eye. what would i need for that? i'm presuming rogue is one of the classes that i would be taking. but what else would i need. cause i want it to be a passive deception to be 30.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, a fey wanderer ranger + eloquence bard is probably your best bet, allowing you to always roll a 10 through the eloquence bard, and to add your wisdom through the fey wanderer. Both features are at level 3, although going for 2 would allow you boost your wisdom/cha by 2 which is important with your goal, so whichever class you chose to treat as a dip won't be too crushing. I'd personally use bard as my main class because that allows you to rely on your charisma stat through magic without being too MAD.
at lvl 12 with and pointbuy 8/13/12/8/15/15
Race: Varient human with actor feat giving you +2 char and +1 wisdom
4 levels of ranger (ASI goes to wisdom and charisma), add your wisdom to charisma checks
8 levels of eloquence bard (+2 cha, any +1 wisdom feat ), guaranteed 10 rolls on persuation/deception, expertise in both.
Any deception/persuasion check would be at minimum of 27(10+8+4+5)
If you make it to level 16, you can bump that up to 30 by grabbing another +2 wisdom + the additional 2 from expertise.
Honestly I don't recommend this kind of build... But since this thread is about being broken, there it is.
I had a wizard use this to create his own global intelligence network and Wizard's Guild of the Silver Hand (The original has a prosthetic/silver hand).

I don't really consider anything broken - there's very little a DM can't deal with - but Zealot barb Protector Aasimar is quite strong. The flight reduces the disadvantage the barb has for range since with a 60 ft fly speed they can cover that distance easily even against flying enemies, and the extra damage is decent. At high level the barb becomes very difficult to actually kill against generic enemies because even at 0 hp and even with 3 fails death saves, the Barb is still up and fighting. When done they can heal themselves with their racial ability. While it is possible for an enemy to make a Barb end their rage it is difficult to do so. Spellcasters will have an easier time but other enemies could be completely unable to actually stop them.

Once at zero hp. This barb dies immediately to a sleep spell. You need a sleep-proof race for a better zealot.

Fey wanderer ranger ( at your wisdom to charisma checks)
College of eloquence Bard (minimum of 10 on persuasion and deception )
Expertise in either of the above, Wich means you can have a +3 in both wisdom and charisma + expertise of 6. So that means you always have a
22 or more.
