I was wanting to buy a feat to use in the D&D beyond character sheet but I don't care much to buy the entire book for one thing but I'm not seeing a way to pick and choose things to buy now where is that?
You can't anymore. The Marketplace was revamped about a month of so back and piece meal a la carte purchases was removed as a buying option. It's now buy the book, or content share, or homebrew it. If you go to feedback, there's a fairly lively thread of people lodging their complaint on this change.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Just homebrew it in, it's allowed so long as you don't publish it (which you have no need to do). There's no need to waste any previous purchases or effort put into homebrewing.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Corporate money grab to milk us clean. These corpo's gotta go. Too many gonks thinking they can lock onto our wallets, they'll end up zeroing themselves in the progress.
Non-Paying people can homebrew everything even without a subscription, I believe it just won't be shared. Only reason I bought the books is because I know I'll be using all the content.
I complained and got the response below. They have removed the option to buy individual parts of books. Everyone please complain and let them know exactly how you feel about that decision!

Unfortunately, the option to buy specific parts of a book is no longer available. Purchases on DDB are now restricted to buying the entire book.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
