Yo! as the title says who let them cook with warlock? because they did a stupidly amazing job and with the monk they did such great work for alot of things and classes (i still think ranger needed more time in the oven but too late books out in like a month now) i wasnt really a fan of the warlock before like it was neat but eh now i cant wait to play a blade lock since they can make 3 attacks and heal off their hits. not to mention the fiendish vigor invocation got buffed hard and isnt limited to a first level spell anymore and gives max temp hp. the warlock mains are eating so good right now

Wait, what do you mean Fiendish Vigor not limited to a first level spell? That's not how it reads. It's the same as it was in UA7, so you can only cast it at the original level, since all features that allows casting without a spell slot use the base level of the spell.
Other than that, Warlock is really great now, and the spell list really gives the creepy vibe, though I saw it lost some spells: Shatter, Mass Suggestion, Conjure Fey, Flesh to Stone. Most are Mystic Arcanums, but Shatter? I'm confused on that one.
when i read it it didnt have the "at first level part" so i may have jumped the gun assuming there tho are you sure it doesnt upcast?
The wording says: you can cast False Life on yourself without expending a spell slot. To upcast the spell, you need to burn a spell slot, which the feature specifically says it doesnt use, so you can only cast at the base level of the spell; in this case, level 1.

that stinks to hear tho it wouldnt be bad to keep it for a few early levels then drop it later
Since it doesn't require a spell slot you could still throw up a bonus action spell on the same turn.
