Quick question: I am the DM for my group. I have a master's tier sub and I bought the bundle; why are my players. telling me they don't have access to the. new PHB?
Do the players have to have a masters tier to be able to see it or do they have. to. wait until 9/17??
As long as you're all in a campaign with content sharing, you have the masters tier and you own the book, then the problem is most likely that they need to update their entitlements. They have to go to "Profile" "My account" "Licenses" and then "Update Entitlements"
Have you checked that you have access to the 2024 PHB yourself? Have you synced your entitlements properly? Is content sharing turned on? Have you tried turning it on and off?
Have they logged in and out since the release? Some people needed to do that to get proper access. Does it only display the legacy classes/races/backgrounds when they make a character?
I have the same experience. I have a master account. I created a campaign and shared it with a player. She added her character (which was not configured yet other than a name) and the list of classes only shows the 4 classes from the core rule book and not the classes from the PHB 2024. I've verified that the campaign has source sharing on and that the list of sources can be seen in the player's account. The only work around that I can think of is to create an "unassigned character" on my account and then transfer it.
Here's what I ended up doing to work around the issue:
Player creates character on her account but only gives it a name (doesn't pick class or another other options).
I send campaign link and the player adds character to the campaign.
On my account (using an iPad), I opened the character list in the campaign and selected the player's character.
This opens the character with the full set of PHB 2024 options and the character creation can be completed.
Obviously, this only worked because we were in the same physical location. Is there a better solution?
Having the same issue myself... not sure if this was resolved.. I have a Master's Account and everything is set to SHARE. they only see just the ONE free subclass when they try to create a character in my campaign.
I'll suggest the obvious, create a new campaign and make sure you have content sharing enabled. Then copy a link to the campaign and send that to your players.

Thanks for the tips.... worked with someone on the dnd beyond side and apparently it was a SNYCHING issue. had to Disable and Re-enable Content in the campaign a couple of times. Didn't work immediately, but after a few attempts it started sharing
Yes, all fixed! I had created a new campaign page but I had forgotten to toggle content sharing; once I did that players were all able to access the 2024 PHB content and also all the new content in the character builder. Thanks for the tips!!
My friend who I have in my campaign has the DMG2024, and it's shared with me, but I still can't read through it (yes I have updated the Entitlements). Is it NOT shared even tho it should be?
Yeah, master tier is required to share.. Also not, when you won't be share the actual BOOK itself under the Sources tab, but when you create a character for the campaign you can use the class/species/background etc from the 2024 phb
Also, make sure it's a character for the campaign and not an unassigned character. If that doesn't work, ask the DM to Unshare and Reshare content. That resolved the issue for me

Can they see the 2024 free rules at least?
Are they making characters in the campaign with sharing? The character builder stuff will only be available there.

Anyone figured out a way around this?

The advice here may help

I believe your friend has to have a Master tier subscription to share contents.
But the important question is: how does he have the DMG if its not out yet, even for early release (10/29)???
