It is called capitalism. wotc will change the business model if and only the accountants tell the C-suite that income is not being optimized.
It’s time to cancel subscriptions and play pen and paper or someone make an app/site for us if they don’t fix this and allow us to use the stuff we bought

you havent been able to buy them for at least 6 months probably longer. Once book sales slow.
They will sell piece meal again to generate $$$

Have you seen the sales numbers for 2024 phb? Also with the new edition out, I would imagine sales numbers for 2014 books will plummet.

It's not a new edition. Other than the PHB, DMG and MM, the old books are still usable.
