How do I link spells and monsters in the description of say a homebrew monster or magic Item?
Are you trying to link official content? For example, the fire bolt cantrip? If that's what you're looking for, check out this wonderful thread on tool-tips.

Yeah, I was trying to find the rule that but I can't seem to find it anymore. I remember it being a thing. But i can't find it.
