Hey y'all. I was wondering if Party Mode actually had a function or if it was just to be flashy and amuse you whilst you stare at character sheets for hours on end. I also noticed that several of my party members had little icons or gadgets (kinda like badges), that show up on their character portraits that seemed to flash in sync with the party mode button. I was wondering how to obtain/turn those on as well. Thank you!
There is no purpose to it, it's an easter egg that arose from a dev testing a feature and decided to leave it in for fun.
As for the icons that are flashing on your players character sheets, those are avatar frames and are unlocked as pre-order bonuses. It appears some have been configured using the same CSS or formatting that the party wizard (as they are known).

I originally thought you could connect with players that weren’t in the same campaign, for things like encounters. Thank you for notifying me on this.
It makes everything you touch like characters in collections turn rainbow, as well as words, etc.

It was removed like lots of the things that made this site either fun or easy to use before wizbro bought it.

This makes me sad. I remember a while ago someone mentioned that the Devs had several easter eggs which had never been found.
On the plus side, you can always give money to a huge corporation now. That bit's easy for you.
