I am curious how someone could play a character who was the child of a mortal joybringer (high priest), and the avatar of the Goddess Lliira.
As a result of being the child if a divine avatar, the character would have inherited a tiny fragment of Lliira's divine spark. Enough to make them a Sorcerer. Essentially, instead of getting their magic from a draconic ancestor or something, they get their magic because they literally have the blood of a divine being, running through their veins. Although they themselves are not divine, not a God, and are fully mortal (in that they can be killed). Although their natural lifespan would be much longer than a typical mortal, as they are the child of a Goddess. and their long life has given them a unique, timeless perspective on the world, that is much more akin to that of an Elf.
How could someone play such a character, without being too much of an edge case.
Would that be something that could even happen?
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Thanks

Mechanics-wise, I would make them as an Aasimar Divine Soul sorcerer. That race and subclass were basically made for what you're describing.
RP-wise is a bit harder. You could play them as hating their parents for not giving them a normal life, trying to live up to their divine parent's legacy, or even trying to live a normal life among mortals and covering up their divine heritage.
