How about being able to add extra spells to our known spells for wizard class beyond those learned when gaining a level (I.e. copied from a spell book we found while adventuring).
You can already do this via the manage spells option. Wizards don't have capped spells known so you can freely add as many as you like.
*Note this can't be done for cantrips as those are restricted by wizard level per the rules

That's your prepared spells, not your learned spells. Wizards can only prepare a number of spells equal to their intelligence modifier + wizard level. However they can learn an unlimited number of spells
