Update: If you registered your iOS or Google account email after the initial email was sent this morning, you will be granted access by tomorrow. As more people register, please keep in mind that we will only add new alpha testers once per day.
The D&D Beyond mobile app alpha is now live!
An email was sent to everyone on the list with the following:
Thank you for helping us test the DDB mobile app. Details for how to access the app are found below.
Before you start the adventure, here are a few things to keep in mind:
This is an alpha test for in-progress development - things can (and will) change throughout the alpha. We value your feedback - it is vital to making the app what we want it to be. Please share it in our Mobile Alpha Feedback Forum.
During the alpha, in-app purchases are not available. However, any content you unlock on the D&D Beyond website will be available on the site and in the app. The initial beta release for the DDB app will include e-reader style access to all your unlocked compendium content on D&D Beyond. Our first goal is to provide a great way for you to access all your D&D content on the go. The various listings, character builder and sheet, and campaign components will be added in future stages of the beta, after the initial app store release.
If you're familiar with the site, you'll notice that tooltips and crosslinking are not active in the content pages of the mobile app at this point. They will be added with the advent of the spells, magic items, and monsters listings in the near future.
Check out instructions to download and install the app for either iOS or Android below.

Download the TestFlight app and check your email for the testing opt-in link. Follow the instructions in the email to download the DDB app. Be sure to check your Spam folder in case it gets delivered there.
Click the testing opt-in link below while logged into your registered Google account and follow the instructions. After opting in, find the D&D Beyond app on the Play Store, download, and install.
This part is important for people to remember. I was a little surprised when I just launched the app that the character builder wasn't included.

How often is the information in the Registration Form parsed and updated? I downloaded/installed Testflight, but all I can do is 'Redeem code' on the platform, and I have no received an email with a personal code.

One thing that hung me up for a while was remembering that my AppleID email is different from my usual email (like I use here with Twitch/DDB). So the email quoted above about downloading TestFlight went to my DDB email, but the TestFlight opt-in when to my AppleID email. Which, in hindsight, makes sense. Dunno if that applies to you or not, but that delayed me until I remembered.
I am using the correct email and after clicking on the link to get the app i get this:
App not available
A testing version of this app hasn't been published yet or isn't available for this account.
If you've been invited to become a tester, make sure that you're signed in to the account that was invited to the testing program. If you've been invited to a Google Group or Google+ Community as part of the program, make sure that you've joined the Group or Community.
How long did it take for the Testflight email to arrive? I got my DDB invite email hours ago and downloaded Testflight right away. Still no email with redemption code though...

I just updated the original post. We will add new testers once per day, with the next being tomorrow morning.
The way testing works for iOS and Android, there are no automated options to add new testers, so we can't do this much easier.

BadEye said they are adding testers once/day since it's a largely manual process. So if you just registered today, you should have access after that add more tomorrow morning.
Is there an intent to cross link references in adventures - e.g. to monster tables or room references on maps and the like? That would make it so much more useful.

Once again, thanks for helping us test and make this app an invaluable resource for the D&D community!

OK so I got the e-mail and filled out the form. What do I do next? I got a reply saying thanks for filling in the form on Jan 12.

Same here. I use a Yahoo address for twitch/DnDBeyond but a gmail account for play, if that helps.

Also a return to index / return to top?

This is the alpha test and is not the complete product - there will be linking.
