Umm yea, so I am rarely impressed with "perks" to the point I wish they would go away. Character sheet portrait frames? Seriously? Backgrounds? Who cares. A perk would be something useful, maybe a one shot adventure, a new feat, early access to the stuff we buy.
One shot adventure needs to be written, and should be at least playtested a bit. New feat, well, please no; the world is full of unhinged, unbalanced, awful third party feats already. Early access, well, that’s not really up on them. While I do agree these perks are useless (and I couldn’t care less if they went away), these are things they can easily and probably cheaply make with their available staff - a small transparent box that covers half the portrait that should be the prominent element; a large background image taken from an existing book cover or internal illustration noone will be able to see cause it’s covered by the character sheet anyway, a new skin for a virtual dice that’s so slow to use I rather reach for my physical ones (or a random number generator website) - so obviously they will do this.
I keep my subscription for the unlimited slots and for the content sharing in campaigns, and kinda can’t understand why are people making such a fuss about getting these a day later they think they are entitled to.

I, for the most part agree. The frames and backgrounds are all pretty lame. The dice are ok, but it would be nice to get something like a monthly credit in the marketplace, ( a couple bucks or whatever country exchange rate equivalent), that could add up to be used towards a marketplace purchase. Over the course of a year, enough maybe to get a decent discount on a marketplace item.

Yeah, I pretty much got my subscription exclusively for the unlimited character slots. It would be nice if the montly perks were anything noteworthy, but I don't think they were ever really a selling point. If getting rid of them doesn't make a difference to anyone, I guess you might as well have them
If they were and you don't have access to them in your account make sure your entitlements are synced. If they are synced at the top of that page then contact support.
I generally like the perks...however, the amount of frames and portraits are getting to be a bit ridiculous. I like the dice, and really like it when a set gets released for free. I would like to see miniatures released the same way with the VTT, kind og like how there was the free gold dragon mini with the pre-order of the 2024 rule set.
What is really frustrating is that as subscribers we pay for 'early access to tools' yet the closed beta to Project Sigil is open to everybody at the same time with no news if subscribers have access prior to test it out. I think they should be serious on their perks if they want to sell subscriptions. The benefit? Subscribers can ensure the platform has less bugs and is more stable prior to the closed beta release.
As a subscriber I personally pay for the unlimited slots and the content sharing, and I could not care less, if non subscribers could access the other tools early as well, cause I’m happy to share. And to be honest, it’s already a bit of a chore preparing for a 2d VTT, I can’t imagine how much hassle and time it will take to put together a 3d battle map just for a 2 round combat encounter…

you pay for unlimited slots, I do not. I only need two slots. Yet I pay for a subscription :) Not advocating to delay for non-subscribers, merely early access to check it is ready for the onslaught of day one.

I got the master sub for the maps and the content sharing. Without those two things I would be a free sub. I do like a new dice though :)
Learning to DM with roll 20 and here on Beyond Dnd. Happy to join any game and even trial some things with will players who have experience.
I always play with bagpipes and they can cause serious psychic damage.
Have we had a perk since Lego dice?
Yes, there have been Kintusgi Dice, frames and backgrounds.
You can see if they were added to your licenses here:

Nice perks, is there a way to see what the actual backdrops look like somewhere?
Mini Militia App Lock
With a bit of devtools magic, yeah, otherwise, not really, except most of them are simply just full page or cover illustrations from published books.
