I’m really looking forward to this book, but I’m going to be disappointed if they don’t feature any oriental type dragons, or lung dragons as I believe their called. They feature everything from the weird and wonderful from what’s been shown so far but if I want to run an oriental style homebrew, I know I could reskin or use homebrew. Just hope they might make official stats for them. Might just be my opinion but hey!

The table of contents leaked a while back. No oriental dragons unfortunately.
This is my first time pre-ordering content through D&D Beyond. I've purchased plenty of things, but all after they were already released. What time does this usually become available. Is it "stroke of midnight" -- and if so, is it localized, or based on D&D Beyond's timezone (San Francisco!), or Wizards of the Coast (Washington State -- same time zone). Or is it noon, or some other time? Does it vary?

In the past it has been 12am eastern if I remember correctly
It’s not on the app yet. Good to know there’s a create your own dragon bit, but it does not come close to the create your own dragon bit in the base book of Dungeon Crawl Classics.
How would you fellow DM's rule for the Drake of the Ranger and the damage of the Monk? Call out the type of damage (lightning, fire and such) before a roll or would you prefer someone take 1 specific element for flavor?
I feel like this would be a good edition to have around. I'm curious to see the Alt art cover for it, i feel like there are a lot of good avenues to go down in terms of that.

It was already shown, and it’s epic.

This isn't actually a signature, just something I copy and paste onto the bottom of all my posts. Or is it? Yep, it is. Or is it..? I’m a hobbit, and the master cranial imploder of the "Oops, I Accidently Destroyed Someone's Brain" cult. Extended sig. I'm actually in Limbo, it says I'm in Mechanus because that's where I get my WiFi from. Please don't tell the modrons, they're still angry from the 'Spawning Stone' fiasco. No connection to Dragonslayer8 other than knowing them in real life.
I’m disappointed they didn’t include the steel dragon from Dungeon of the Mad Mage but other than that it was amazing.
There's actually a sidebar that makes steel dragons non-canonical, I believe.
It's on Page 44 and seem to be universally hated amongst Dragon lovers.
Thanks. Imma look that up.
I found it. Since one of my main PCs is descended from a steel dragon and it’s a big part of her back story, I’m gonna ignore that and say that steel and Greyhawk dragons do exist, but they’re very rare and are only found in FR and Greyhawk respectively.

I'm surprised, I love Steel Dragons!
Do you know what section of the version on Dndbeyond would have that sidebar?
Nevermind, I found it, it's in the shape-shifting section of the Roleplaying dragons section.
I still don't get it, after all there's a steel dragon in DotMM.
Actually, I changed my mind. I’m gonna roll with it. I can make this work.
And the dragon in DotMM was kinda like a weird Underdark dragon. She was lawful evil and her breath weapon (acid vapor) wasn’t the same as the traditional steel dragon’s Feign Death cloud.
Half (or anyone else but I’m asking Half cause he replied and I know he has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of D&D) do you have any idea why they made steel dragons non-canon?

I cannot seem to make a gem dragonborn, I own the book, can I have some help?
I am enjoying the new Dragonborn features!
