I made a little summary of the latest dev blog. I usually watch it but I know that some people might not have the time or want the news ASAP. I plan on making these posts until you're able to make those CON saves or someone else from D&D Beyond starts making them.
Call of the Netherdeep is available for preorder.
Stay tuned for more information about preorder goodies.
Monsters of the Multiverse is available for preorder.
Opens up DND lore. (Allows you to more easily mash up assets from different sources.)
A good resource for newer players. (Tons of monsters, tons of player races.)
Content of this sourcebook will not replace previously purchased content.
D&D Beyond is working with WotC on how to implement the above.
WotC asked D&D Beyond to allow them to handle communication for this release.
Owners of previous content have nothing to worry about. Nothing will be lost.
More details to come.
Encounters
Free for all registered users.
Death Saves Tracker
Tim Smith (D&D Beyond Dev) worked on the Encounters Death Saves Tracker instead of spending time with friends and family. (Thanks Tim!)
DMs now see when a character reaches death saving throws status and how many sucesses/failures they have. All done in the Encounters tracker.
Note: Characters aren't able to roll death saves yet. This feature keeps track of player added successes/failures.
Cointainers
Containers now hold coins.
In beta phase. Currently only available to subscribers.
Character Sheet -> Currency -> Settings (Top Right) -> Enable "Put Coins in Containers"
Streamlined App Updates
Pretty dope.
Updating books is now easier and takes less bandwidth.
Currently only available for iOS. (Hoping for Android support very, very, very soon.)
Generic Features System
Catchall function for features that aren't currently supported on D&D Beyond.
Creates a base so that D&D Beyond isn't playing catchup when WotC releases new features.
Originally on the 2021 roadmap but due to dev priority changes it's now on the 2022 roadmap.
Better communication between Joe and Dev team so roadmaps will be more accurate.
More information in the coming months.
Q&A below. In a spoiler so my post isn't too large. (Q&A was cut short due to Joe having connection issues.)
Q from Dagamant: Preorder perks for Monsters of the Multiverse?
A from Joe: It wouldn't be D&D Beyond without preorder perks. There will definitely be preorder perks for Monsters of the Multiverse. I'm not sure what they're going to be yet. I'm excited about the idea of them because there's just a ton of stuff in this book. More than 250 monsters. More than 30 updated compiled player races. Lots of inspiration.
Q from Mergon: Will the racial changes coming in Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse be treated as errata and forced upon the community or will they be options that are only available to those who purchase the new book and use a toggle to activate the racial changes?
A from Joe: So in terms of toggles, buttons, and levers I'm not sure what the approach is going to be. We'll continue to update you Mergon as that gets worked through but for the beginning part of your question, no. Nothing is going to be forced onto the community and no one will lose previously owned content. This will be treated as new content when you buy the book.
Next week's Dev Update will have devs to answer questions.
Critical Role: Call of the Netherdeep is available for preorder.
Mordenkained Presents Monsters of the Multiverse is available for preorder.
Not going to lose your stuff.
No updates as of yet.
Jan/Feb Perks
Miscommunication between D&DBeyond and the community. The fuzzy dice are December and January's subscriber perk.
Starting Feb 8th they'll be back to the normal monthly subscriber perks.
As an apology, DNDBeyond is giving a 10% off coupon that works on a single book purchase. (Subscribers and non-subscribers can use it. Expires 2/7/22. Works on preorders and already released content.)
Encounters: Free for all registered users.

D&D Beyond cast will be playing.
Amy Dallen will be DMing.
Will start on 2/2/22 at 3PM PST.
Short 2~ hour sessions.

My Characters Page Update
Received tons of feedback.
Changes are coming.
No ETA.
Accessibility Changes
Screen Reader Improvements
Dyslexia Font Support
Game Data Listing Updates
Substantial changes to search and navigation.
More information in the coming weeks.
Q&A is below in the spoiler so my post wasn't too long. (No technical issue this time but I only wrote down the D&D Beyond related questions.)
Q from Manoferos78: I know you can't give details and much information, but is there at least talk about doing a virtual TTRPG tool or a map generator?
A from Joe: You are correct. I can't give any information about those things but it'd be cool.
Q from Watsurs: Is the FUZZY10 code for a single book or your order?
A from Joe: (He asked the mods to figure out what the answer was. It works on a single book.)
Q from Frossty88: Is there any hope of the encounter of the week series coming back on a weekly (or even semi-regular) basis?
A from Joe: Yeah, absolutely! They never really went away. We don't call them encounters of the week anymore because we don't necessarily do them weekly but we have been launching adventures on a semi-regular basis. We launched one - They've been tying into books mainly but yeah! I believe we're doing one for valentines day. As well as some special homebrew items for valentines day that I think you all are going to dig.
Hopefully Mellie's doctors can figure out what's going on and she feels better soon.
In the mean time thanks for posting these ATimelessRed. Todays update from your summary seems to have a bunch of good info for upcoming stuff. I'm glad they were able to give us more of a peak of whats to come =).

Maybe it's just me but I feel that they just want us to watch their Twitch channel. Making a 30 minute video is way more time consuming than posting a bare bones summary to the forums.

Which they get paid to do. It's also way more time consuming to watch a 30 minute video than skim a summary. I've paid them over $900 for the convenience of their app (including my master tier subscription). Having the convenience of a changelog in the format that every other software uses (free or not) should not be too much to ask for. It's not like it would take them much time. They make the summaries regardless. They just hide it in a livestream so they can get money out of telling the people paying them what they're already paying for. Just make a changelog page and copy that bulleted list over. If you're really feeling ambitious, make another "upcoming features" page where you just post that slide.
Hey all! Just a reminder that we have a Changelog that you can find on the top right of the website. It's the little pencil with the round-about arrow. I know--even some internal folks are surprised to learn that there's a link to it there! I've asked the team to brainstorm some ways to better surface this changelog. :) Here's a quick link, though: https://www.dndbeyond.com/changelog
We're also starting a monthly forum AMA, which we did the first one of this month (you can find it in this forum section) to give you a chance to ask team members questions about what's coming up without needing to tune into the weekly show on Twitch.
Oh, so it is. It looks like a link was also added in the footer (I'm fairly certain I've looked there on a few occasions, but I could be wrong). If it doesn't get added to the banner as a plaintext link, having it in a submenu (probably media next to dev updates) and/or pinned to the forums (news and announcements) would probably be a good idea. Thank you for pointing that out.

Nice Summary Red.
Mellie - I hope you are getting better we miss you here and on video.
Thanks so much for posting this!
Happy to do so friend!
I'll be posting them a little after the dev update streams end in the future.
Since there isn't a single update thread for all of the dev blogs, I'll be posting them here.

How to get your dice to look like the ones in my profile picture and a full site dark mode.
Tutorial thread by Hyrkali
ATimelessRed - thank you
Happy to help. I hope people that are looking for this information are able to find it.
I was tempted to make a separate thread for these updates but I wasn't sure if that would be frowned upon.
I would be surprised if they would take offence at your efforts to help them

Oh! That's a great suggestion-- Let me see what I can do about getting a redirect link up on this forum.
Edit: It has been done! Thanks for the idea!
